Did you mention that ethanol drives up food prices and tends to cause riots in 3rd world countries?
Wow - Another stupid myth believer.
Ethanol does not take food away from anyone or cause food prices to rise. Ethanol plants turn corn into DDG animal feed. This feed contains all the protein of the corn that was used to make ethanol. Only the corn starch was turned into ethanol. The DDG protein still feeds the same numbers of animals as the corn would have that was used for ethanol. The ethanol tax was also a myth. It was a tax credit that lowered the prices at the pump. There was no extra tax on gasoline. It was a tax break for you on every gallon of gas with ethanol in it. Nearly every gallon of gas sold in the USA has 10% or more ethanol in it. That means EVERYONE got a tax break at the gas pump.

Umm...Care to explain why corn based food products saw sharp increases in price soon after Ethanol subsidies were introduced?
No of course you won't. You'll dig up some bullshit produced by an enviro-blogger.
The fact is, farmers were growing corn and instead of sending it for food processing, were taking advantage of the marketplace by sending it to Ethanol producers.
Ethanol producers which had a limited market to sell their product.
Look, Ethanol is OVER. Even the far left wing Obama regime had to throw in the towel.
I'll state this to you as I have in earlier threads...
You people will have my full support if: an alternative to an oil based fuel can perform as well or better than gasoline, cost the same or less than gasoline, does not cause harm to internal combustion engines or engine parts, burns as or more efficiently as gasoline and is as readily available as gasoline. Until then this ridiculous yammering and pining for an alternative NOW!!! should STOP NOW.
Have at it.
