After flying into Seoul, I can tell you no one could jump that fence, 12 foot high and lined with barbed wire and searchlights. Of course, they have a hostile neighbor, but perhaps we should fortify our airports even more. Make them all look like Seoul.

Well, if you are trying to commit suicide by jet you are kind of nuts.

He was probably like this guy, this guy missed boarding and then lost what was left of his mind. A few months ago his parents sued the airport.

Of course, they did because Americans no longer have any sense of accountability for their actions.

Parents admitted he had mental health issues.

The airport should sue the parents for allowing this guy to fly unaccompanied.

There was too much unguarded access to the runway, an airport has a responsibility to protect passengers from crazy people gaining access to a runway that could kill passengers by interfering with flight.

Total garbage.

The airport is just like our open society.

There were reasonable protections. As seen in his efforts to get through several doors that failed.

But he had mental health issues. His parents knew that. Why would they allow him to fly (what happens if he boards and something doesn't work the way he wants. Talk about a danger) unattended?

We should not be required to protect against every situation. If that were the case, you'd need to expand the airport borders by miles.
