What is an ICE AGE?

Most apparently still believe it is a terrifying horror movie event where Earth all at once freezes up. The data has never supported such a scenario. Since 2010, there has been a massive effort to re-write Earth climate history into a series of rapid "glaciations" and ice retreats, as if "Day After Tomorrow" movie is accurate... LOL!!! What was North American Ice Age before 2010 is now spun into a series of rapid "ice ages" where it took a mere 75k years for the "ice age" to start in Northern Canada and put 2.5 mile thick glaicers on Chicago. This is "Milankovich"...

Greenland has plenty of mountains too. Mt Kilimanjaro has glacier on the top. That's not an answer.

Dry Conditions: Parts of Arctic Alaska are surprisingly dry. Less snowfall means less accumulation to sustain glaciers long-term.

Alaska gets significantly more precipitation than Greenland, documented many times here.

While I admit a certain level of ignorance on the subject that doesn't mean I am totally in the dark about the subject. My point is that reading a few questionable links on the internet doesn't qualify me to eliminate the work of experts who have invested years in the study of the subject. This is Alaska, covered head to toe with trees, grass, and wildlife, ice on mountains but nothing resembling mile thick ice with 130k years of ice core data that doesn't even get halfway down...

And this is Greenland, a continent specific ice age covered head to toe with ice age glacier, that started 1-2 million years ago at the northern top, and only in 1400s did it penetrate the southern tip and force the Vikings off the southern tip... Vikings who named it GREENland because the southern tip was ALL GREEN when they first settled it... but is now buried under 600 years of ice layers...

Every piece of land on Earth within 600 miles of an Earth Pole is in CONTINENT SPECIFIC ICE AGE, and every piece of land outside of 600 miles to a pole is not...

What a weird "coincidence" never noticed by the "top climate scientists..."





And as for "exposure to ocean warmth" and "elevation inland," this is what baby ice age has done to Greenland...

I'm seriously wondering when turbulence becomes so severe that it is no longer safe to fly. It should surprise no one if this becomes a reality someday, but there are so many other dire predictions one can make that can very well come true someday, and these weather extremes are proof of this. This is just kicking off.

There it is, right before your very eyes, year, after year, after year, and still it is just "weather", and no one can predict it.

I would say the cimate scientists have done an outstanding job of climate modeling and analysis, and even they would admit the rates of change are exceeding all of their predictions.

It's certainly possible, as are a range of other dire consequences, such as climate refugees. The situation will continue to devolve, the question remains how quickly, and how severe the changes will be. You cannot accurately predict collapse with any level of certainty.
