You can disagree, dislike, despise, pull your hair out or throw darts at a Trump cut out. You cannot, in a civilized, system of democracy and liberty, deny people their opportunity (at least in America, which is why you have been winning for so long, wake up people) to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.
We know Trump is going to find a way forward. He can use foreign publishers if need be, not unlike so many who have sold the U.S to foreign interests (or former U.S start-up companies, who became big multi-national corporations who do NOT have Americas interests in mind when they make big donations).
As a "Canadian" (cough cough) perhaps you're not aware that AT&T, ConocoPhillips , Dow Inc., United Parcel Service, JPMorgan Chase, Citigroup, Amazon, Comcast, General Electric, Twatter, Fecesbook et al, are not legally required to suck the mushroom of any tinpot dick-tator just because he wants to exploit them.
**** him. He destroyed himself, let him wallow in his own rubble.
It doesn't matter, he will keep his following. The crazies in the media made him. They hated him so much that they pushed against even common sense changes. Such as building a wall. Taking on China. Being energy independent that people had to ask "why"? Once people see that you don't care what successes he has, you just want him out, your entire narrative is finished.
It's the same conglomerates who get sick at night and need a teddy to sleep at the thought of him as president who drove people into his arms.
It's not just that we didn't think the world would be this biased, it's that we didn't think grown men and women would be this flaky. Without question, if this generation were around in the 1940s Germany and Japan would have had it much easier.
Your Argument from Emotion amuses me. Not that much though. Bottom line is you want to apologise for a ******* INSURRECTION ATTACK ON THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT so **** him and **** you.,
--- unless you guys want to burn down the White House again?
Trump didn't tell them to over run Capitol Hill. There are reports of the FBI offering help to Capitol Hill and were denied. That's on the security there, this probably could have been avoided. It's not an easy job, especially in angry times like now, so it isn't a Monday Morning QB situation. However, Trump didn't ask them to be violent.
As it were, the only woman shot was a Trump supporter, not the other way around. The officer who died has not had a clear cause of death last time I checked. Why not? Why hasn't the person who shot the woman been ID'ed? 3 Others died, probably due to health issues, not related to a violent attack. No one wants to hear people perishing, but transparency and facts matter. Especially as some are always out for blood and blaming Trumps supporters. Usually incorrectly.
Meanwhile in Canada, they always frame it as
"five people died in the Capitol Hill insurrection". They know most Canadians are too naive and lacking the grey matter to look up the details themselves.
Look, I know how media narratives work. I've seen Canadian police engage in these tactics first hand, and, for many years in the narrow media ownership. If you abandon critical thinking, it helps no one.
I didn't care for much of Trumps language, I didn't agree with all his positions. His core positions though, were needed if the West is to have a chance at remain free and capitalist. China, U.S sovereignty (meaning, not a flop house for anyone who wants to walk in uninvited), energy independence, making global socialists turn back to capitalism while standing up for allies in the Far East and M.E.
