Or match, set, or queef whatever they call it. I can't see any rules or attempt at officiating, just men in short pants wrestling each other. I could see this if they were females, but this is pointless, especially when the announcer is talking in eurotrash dialect.

I have played and watched many rugby games,,

there are many rules and the referee is always right no matter how wrong he is,,

you might be confused by one aspect,,
penalties are not enforce if it doesnt advance the offending teams,,

punching is legal is certain cases but beware the payback from the other team if you take it to far,,

rugby is a savage game played by gentlemen and american football is a gentlemens game played by savages,,

give blood play rugby,,

the little helmets or tape around the head is to keep your ears from getting torn off,,

I watched a big black guy at a tournament getting half his ear sewn back on because he had to play the next game and another guy walk over to the sideline to get a finger reset and taped, he had to stay on the field while the game was continuing or he would have been disqualified

ask me any question you would like and I will try and explain any confusion,,

I love to watch rugby.

Very easy to follow.

Take a Brit to an American hockey game, and his eyes will cross trying to figure out the rules.

I've played rugby, hated it.

It is a rough ass sport.
I played when I was a kid, and I'm not built for rugby. I invented a new position and it was in a place where the ball never, ever went. I could go finish playing as clean as when I started.

Also once went to Prague with a friend of mine and her dad played for Sparta Prague rugby, he must have been 50 years old.

It's also a strange posh sport, especially in the UK. Posh people will claim that they're civilized and that soccer is uncivilized. That was before the scandal of players putting their fingers up other players' bottoms.

no such place exist on a rugby field,,

the ball goes everywhere,,

I watched complete games of rugby sevens when that was a new Olympic event. Watching a complete game of a longer form with more players would be a time commitment. That might be too much commitment for American TV networks. The longer games may still be less boring than American football, but not enough for me to pay for cable or a streaming service. And guys bashing their own bodies for sport would seem stupid to me now.

Introduce it on a compulsory basis — separately for Men and Women .
No mutants or sub species permitted .
THEN
In a few years the US might win its first conflict . Or even a little War .

If America is not already a Banana Republic , Rugby could be its saving grace .
With Cricket in the Summer to help brains grow and flourish .

Rugby is Vicious. Bleeding is always prescribed.

During college we played flag football. Which got a little ugly. Then we played against a Rugby team. The Blood flowed.

First play the asshole in front of me upper cut my chin.

Second play I foearmed his face.

We had blood all over our jerseys lol.

We both about got thrown out of game.
