Psycho democrats are encouraging behavior damaging to lawns because, well, democrats believe they’re just superior and all knowing.
My wife, a horticulturist involved for years with FFA, was chastised by a neighbor today for mowing our lawn. She pointed out to the neighbor that we’re Christian so we don’t believe in the democrat god.
She also pointed out how omitting mowing damages the lawn and is bad for the environment.

As an aside, when I was a seasonal zoo horticulture worker, we and the grounds crew were instructed to avoid mowing when there were a lot of dandelions because the zoo had bee hives that we cared for.

I mow my lawn but unlike others heck bent on that perfect lawn I don't care if dandelions overtake my yard. I refuse to spray poison on it. Thats just giving some lousy corporation that hurts living things money so the lazy ceo can go golfing all day every day.

I generally agree with that. However, when people allow their property to be unkempt, it affects others’ property values and that’s no longer exclusive to the individual. It’s a courtesy thing.
What annoys me are my democrat green neighbors who create what they call ‘rain gardens’ which is nothing more than unkempt, wild yard growth. Ugly. Especially in the front yards of some really spectacular historic homes.
They think they’re saving the planet or something. Just more democrat extremism.

I have never used weed killer, etc on my lawn. I don't think that stuff is healthy, nor should it be used. There are other methods.

Cannot agree more. Every last one of those chemicals is toxic. The dandelions oh my club just can't figure it out.

I only use weed killer on public pot smokers.
An organic, safe and effective weed killer is a 30% vinegar solution.

Grass likes to be so long, cutting it too short or too long hurts it, especially in temps in the mid-80s or higher.

Now that I again have wiener dogs, I have to cut the back grass. The front is covered by Oaks and Murtles - there isn't any grass - and the HOA tells me about it. We only have six inch legs!
