There was no negotiated peace when Germany lost World War II.

Just freakin' incredible. And he'll probably say they surrendered unconditionally.

And the rubes? They'll believe it, of course.
I’d love for you to call me that to my face….lol

There was no negotiated peace when Germany lost World War II.
The Allied powers demanded and received unconditional surrender requiring Germany to accept terms without negotiation.

President Trump Says "We've Won" Iran War

If we won the war, why are we negotiating with the Iranians?

Probably because Trump is trying to avoid taking out infrastructure that will hurt the civilian population. You know nothing is stopping us from doing what would completely cripple the country... we have the power to do so. but then you would call Trump a madman wouldnt you? double down for the war crimes tribunal.... but meanwhile if he goes for a negotiated settlement you're not happy with that either are you?

What do you want?

What I believe is there is NOTHING he can do that you'll agree with. Should we carpet bomb all their cities? Napalm maybe?

You guys would have been on the nazis side though.

There will be a negotiated peace because we will not invade and conquer Iran.

You mean there is nothing Donny could do that you’d disagree with.

Don’t be dumb Carl in Mecca.

Why are we negotiating. I love the USA. We had a hard fought win in WWII. That resulted in the US and allies dectating how to move forward.
The US has sacrificed lives and money to put us in our current position. Our commander in chief has declared victory. Why negotiate. Our military has done their part. It is on the commander in chief on moving forward to minimize the loss of life and monetary cost.

Dick heads like you, support Trump over our military and our nation.

I want our commander and chief to be specific about what goals we want to achieve in the war. I want honesty about what we have succeeded and not succeed and our President give us a true map of moving forward.
No more bullshit. We have American lives at stake. We need competent leadership not a bullshitter covering his ass and not doing what is best for the USA and our war fighters.

If we won the war, why are we negotiating with the Iranians?
Because Trump didn't win. That's why.

Let's count the ways that Trump has lost this war...

1) Has there been regime change? NO

2) Has Iran been forced to give up their enriched uranium? NO

3) Has Iran been forced to give up their ballistic missiles program? NO

4) Has Iran been forced to give up their drones program? NO

5) Has Trump now given Iran a massive strategic advantage in the Middle East by blundering into this war and giving Iran total control of the Straight Of Hormuz and making Iran a more powerful adversary in the future? YES

6) Will Americans now be paying a fortune for gas for god knows how long? YES

They don't understand what "winning" actually means in this case. It's not just blowing stuff up. It's not just killing people who will be replaced by the end of the day.

Anything beyond the most simple concept eludes them.

Are you willing to give up over 400,000 American lives to get an unconditional surrender? Trump doesn't.

Vance heads back to the U.S. without striking a deal with Iran to bring an end to the war

Vice President JD Vance said early on Sunday in ‌Pakistan that U.S. officials are leaving ‌peace talks after the Iranian delegation refused to agree not to develop a nuclear weapon.

“We have been at it now for 21 hours, and we’ve had a number of substantive discussions with the Iranians. That’s the good news,” he said in a press conference following the talks. “The bad news is that we have not reached an agreement.”

The key sticking point, Vance said, was on the issue of Iran’s unwillingness to give up its pursuit of nuclear weapons.

“We need to see an affirmative commitment that they will not seek a nuclear weapon, and they will not seek the tools that would enable them to quickly achieve a nuclear weapon,” he said, noting it is the “core goal” that President Donald Trump hoped to achieve with the negotiations. “They have chosen not to accept our terms.”

I think we'd have to say Iran isn't acting like a country that lost the war. Certainly not one that's ready to surrender, unconditionally or otherwise. They have their own set of demands. Unreasonable? Yes, some of them are.

Things do not look promising for the ceasefire at this point in time. That makes Bibi extremely happy.
