There was no negotiated peace when Germany lost World War II.

Or, may be, there will be no a negotiated peace exactly because you can't invade and conquer Iran and they know it.
The Iranians will get tired of being bombed. Unlike NV which was trying to double the size of its nation. It won because of patience and brutal control of the population. Iranians will overthrow the mullahs before that happens.

It doesn't mean that they will just absorb damage without fighting back. And with China selling them weapons and ships they will be able hit your cargo ships in the sea, burn down facilities of your allies and trading partners, attack American bases world wide, significantly increasing the price of aggression to America.

Or, may be, Americans will overthrow Trump earlier. In this conflict Iranians are fighting for their survival and independence and Americans are fighting for some money and ideological mirages.
Or, may be, they will leave Non Prolifiration Treaty and buy some nukes. Will you continue the fight when Iran is already nuclear with the risk to be nuked?

How? Nukes? Trump's generals will not let him do that. An armed invasion of hundreds of thousands of troops? American mothers will not allow that.

The Mullahs out hopefully protesters in.

BTW. Kurds have invaded in the North. Might draw out the IRGC into the open.

If they are that stupid
My understanding is the "protesters", who definitely want the regime gone, are very diverse. They are of different religions, ethnc groups, and languages. They have a hard time coming together for a unified front to unseat the regime. That is where they need help.

The protesters are united. The regime has badly failed to manage the economy and the country's resources so that now it cannot deliver adequate water and electricity to Iran's major cities and it has no plans to correct these problems.

This is very similar to the kinds of protests in Syria that brought the Assad regime down. The ayatollahs' response to these protests is exactly the same as Assad's was, slaughter the protesters. In Syria, the slaughter of protesters led to large defections from the army and civil war. There are reports of growing defections from IRGC troops and failures of reserve troops to report for duty. Assad had help from the Russians in their efforts to defeat the rebels, and the ayatollahs are already calling on Iraqi militia to come into Iran to quell the protests.

How do we finish them? Just keep doing what we are doing.

You mean, "I wish they were united." They are not unified at all, not even a little.

Of course they are united, they are united agaainst the ayatollahs' failed economy, just as the Syrian protesters were united against Assad's failed economy.

In that case America can't defeat Iran militarily, and even American capabilities of economic and political pressure are quite limited.

Just your wishful thinking. People are usually unites against foreign enemies, especially those enemies who actually bomb them.

In this case the enemy the Iranian people are united against is the current regime that cannot even provide water and electricity to the cities and has no plans to correct this problem. An estimated 3,000 people have been killed by the bombing, including mostly IRGC personnel, but an estimated 36,000 Iranians have been killed by the ayatollahs in their crackdowns on protesters and now they are calling in Iraqi militia to kill more protesters. In Iran you are 12 times more likely to be killed by the government than by the bombing. The enemy the Iranian people are uniting against is the ayatollahs' government.

Just freakin' incredible. And he'll probably say they surrendered unconditionally.

And the rubes? They'll believe it, of course.
In the case of Nazi germany it was unconditional surrender

But a bit less so for Japan since we didnt hang the Emperor

It's just show them that it's much more safe to hate Americans rather than their own government. And they do know, that it's American actions is the source of all their economic problems.

Of course you didn't defeat Iran and it's economy is quite good, yet.
What happens to the jihadi government in Iran depends on whether Trump stays the course or not

They are vulnerable

Are you insane?

The water and electricity shortages have been building for years, but the ayatollahs never developed a plan to correct this but spent what money they had to send missiles to attack other countries. That's why the Iranian people are protesting against the ayatollahs' government.
