Are you willing to give up over 400,000 American lives to get an unconditional surrender? Trump doesn't.

The problem is Trump has the unrealistic expectation of getting an unconditional surrender without doing the costly and horrific actions it would take.
Take the wins and accept the losses and minimize the lives lost and the cost to the American people.
When the cost out weighs the benefit, don't do it.

Probably because Trump is trying to avoid taking out infrastructure that will hurt the civilian population. You know nothing is stopping us from doing what would completely cripple the country... we have the power to do so. but then you would call Trump a madman wouldnt you? double down for the war crimes tribunal.... but meanwhile if he goes for a negotiated settlement you're not happy with that either are you?

I want Trump to be realistic about his goals and what it will take to obtain the goals. If the cost is more than the benefit don't do it.
