Most of those who are in favor of decriminalizing drugs claim that that would stop a lot of crime and illegal drug trading because it wouldn't be illegal anymore. According to this story out of California about weed, that hasn't worked so I find it unlikely that it would work if we decriminalized all drugs. Who wooda ever thunk that criminals could produce drugs cheaper than the government or private business?

are you talking about drugs or cannabis??
if its cannabis its a black market not illegal and that will always happen when something is heavily taxed by the government,,

How's it working in Oregon? Of course it is possible to win a war on drugs. You fight a war. Drug sellers aren't released. They are executed. Drug users aren't released. They are put into forcible programs. Drug overdoses are decimating our military.

Take on the cartels. They are armies. Bomb their warehouses. Collapse their tunnels. Recognize that this war is a genocidal war waged largely by China designed to kill as many as possible. 300 a day, a 9-11 every ten days.

Imagine living in the year 2022 and still supporting the completely failed war on drugs

thats what we need,, a little fascism to control people and what they do in their private lives,,

How is it working in Netherlands? There you can smoke hash or weed at licenses cafes. it is illegal to sell heroin but not to have it for personal use. is their drug policy working for them?

black markets will always exist if the government taxs an item,,,

at least their wont be as many people going to jail for possession,,
Which is one reason why crime rates are soaring, even when talking about marijuana. A lot of bad people were locked up on Marijuana charges and now we're letting them roam around free. Now, if we could filter out just small time everyday American users who use marijuana like drinking alcohol, that's one thing and I'm all for it. But, if we need to keep bad dudes locked up, even those who repeatedly commit small crimes to get money for their habit, then we should be able to lock them up for marijuana use if we don't have enough evidence on them for their other crimes. Having a bunch of druggies running around free will just make crime rates soar even higher. People commit crimes to pay for their drug habits. This is totally unacceptable.

so its because they arent prosecuting the crime people comitt while under the influence,, that has nothing to do with the drug itself,,,

That's not what I claim. I claim we don't need government telling us what to eat, drink or otherwise ingest. MYOB.

Anyone who sees the regulation they pile on when they "legalize" it.

No they don't. Decriminalizing use stops the incarceration of users it does not legalize the drug trade at all. It should be legal. We need a system where consenting adults can have reasonable access to safe recreational substances as long as the understand that they are responsible for their actions regardless if they are under the influence or not. It will never happen Ino.

China is using Mexican cartels to kill 300 people a day. A 9-11 every ten days. Maybe the Netherlands doesn't have a China waging war on them with drugs coming in by the Ton.

Those cities that have legalized or decriminalized drugs have not seen a benefit.
