FYI - Every item on every shelf in every store is delivered there by DIESEL FUEL.

Gasoline is delivered to the gas stations by DIESEL FUEL.

Chemicals are delivered to the water treatment plants by DIESEL FUEL.

The U.S. is facing a diesel crunch just as demand is surging ahead of winter — with only 25 days of supply left, according to the Energy Information Administration.


National Economic Council Director Brian Deese told Bloomberg TV that diesel inventories are “unacceptably low” and “all options are on the table” to bolster supply and reduce prices.

However, even as the stockpiles are being drained, the Biden administration seems to be left with very few sustainable options for long-term relief.

Mansfield Energy issued the advisory to make sure companies are prepared
Businesses have been told to take steps to plan for a potential lack of supply
Main reason for shortage is Russia cutting off imports of diesel to the US
Also caused by high distallate demand, refinery maintenance and lower capacity

(they also mention possible gasoline shortages because refineries have to make more diesel)
