Queen - Live Aid 1985 Full Concert

The best way you will spend around 22 minutes all day.....Almost. ;)

One of the greatest moments in live music, right up there with Prince singing Purple Rain in the rain during a Superbowl show, the 1981 concert in the park with Simon and Garfunkel, and Billy Joel closing out Shea Stadium.

i love to watch reaction videos to music/movies...

I watched one of two black young men and one said....."Man, I wish we cold see concerts like that today."

i have seen many MANY times when a reactor has said how the 'music today' no way compares to what real music was. especially when they watch classic rock - other bands like pink floyd or the who just blow them away.

I have tried to work out when real Rock/pop music ended, i think the rot started to set in early 80s, obviously not every band there were some great ones at that time it was a slow process over three decades but we are at the stage now where half dressed Women strutting the stage are thought to be talented.

When i was a teenager some local bands i knew would have blown some of the present ones away, they actually played instruments.

I went to a Powerwolf show (Power Metal) that was very impressive in 2024.

Great production, mid sized venue, even the opening act was good (Unleash the Archers)

seen them twice 77 and 78 at the LA Forum.....Thin Lizzy opened in one of them...they were ******* pretty good....
dante why the thumbs down?.......was it because i said thin lizzy was pretty good?...because i seen them twice and you didnt see them at all?....is it because freddy was gay?....whats the problem dante?...

I go farther back. Good rock really ended around the mid-70s. By the late 70's there was a dearth of new, good rock bands and music going on.

good job...'the who" was my favorite, but floyd and especially Zep were the greatest bands ever...this is almost as good as finding out pknopp was/is a Monty Python fan
