The Supreme Court considers Trump's Tariffs

People who are incapable of putting their partisanship aside don't have the sense to understand the above. It's important to stress that tariffs aren't only bringing some revenue to the US Treasury but they are being used as leverage to keep countries from taking advantage of us. That's the very definition of Maga. Putting the country first instead of bending the knee to countries who have taken advantage of our lopsided trade deals with them.

The economy is still very resilient and robust though it is true, consumer pricing is not coming down. Inflation currently hovering around 3%, not horrible, but could be better but that all said, this should not be undermining the benefit of using tariff as a tool, especially against China.
If Dotard has a concern with tariff policy he can go to Congress and persuade members to change it. He does not have the authority to do it unilaterally.

These two should be most opposed because of major questions doctrine but of course they’re real pieces of shit who don’t care about consistency.
Unfair. They respond consistently to their paymasters.

I don't know how the mechanism works between Trump's disordered mind and the people who actually set up and levy the tariffs on American companies at the ports, but I would have assumed that such orders came from Congress through a route different than the Oval Office just ordering it.

So I wonder what that dynamic has been like. I wonder if the people who run the system thought "WTF? Do I really have to do this?"
Vought has his hands on those levers, no?

Yes, and tariffs weren't put on because someone ran a TV ad Trump did not like.
the tariff was already in place. Don't spread the propagandist lies from TDS haters - you're better than that

What does the above have to do with what I wrote?
Your post is one big pile of straw.

Answer this easy question for me. What is wrong with charging countries the same as they charge us?
The question may be easy but it's wrong.
The right question is what is wrong with charging US consumers of imported foreign goods more than than foreign consumers of imported US goods are charged?

There are approximately 23 million registered voters in the state of CA. Only seven-eight million came out to vote, passing this prop 50 by two million votes. You get the crooked government you deserve, CA. Proposition 50 should never have passed!

In case you missed the nuance, Prop 50 was nothing more than a Newsom 2028 campaign ad.

15th post
that is wrong Tariffs are not taxes on Us Citizens it effects the Companies importing the items. What the company choses to do about the increase in price to US consumers is not a tax and not the responsibility of the Government
But nanny government Dem feelers believe government must intercede
