Instead of TV my kids had books. My wife actually suffered the lack of way more than the kids did.
When my daughter got to college she went wild and bought a TV for her dorm room By then I didnt mind because she wasnt at that impressionable age the deviants shoot for. I felt she had been inoculated against their poison.
