All three shootings were legitimate self defense. If someone was trying to grab my firearm I would have reason to believe that if he was successful he could use it to kill me. If someone was trying to bust my head in with a skateboard I would have reason to believe there was a damn good chance I would end up in the hospital in serious condition or once I was knocked unconscious beaten to death by the mob. If someone was pointing a handgun at my head I would be in fear of losing my life. A shot to the head is often a kill shot.

I say we need to be STRICTER with lowlife, repeat criminals - and that the whole thing about “equity” and “woe is me more blacks are in prison” has led to the liberals’ erring on the side of being “kind” and “understanding” to lowlifes - regardless of color - and the result is that innocent people die.

We need to go in the opposite direction: first, any Lowlife arrested for a violent crime when he ALREADY has a rap sheet 20 years long does not get bail of $1000. He gets bail of $1 million.

And second, we should go back to the three strikes and you’re out. A third felony conviction results in a lifelong prison sentence.

Three strikes of maybe medium offenses should get a person a sentence that would equal to having committed one felony (1 to 5 years), and if two felony's are committed, then the person should get no less than 5 to 10 years all depending on the type of felony's committed, and if the third crime or felony is committed after their release of time served, then 25 year's should be next without parole, and all because the person exhibits the patterns of a career criminal in the continued acts committed, and he or she also gives evidence that reform does not work in their case.

Does this sound right maybe ? I'm just guessing or pondering what should be if it ain't that way already or now.

I think three “medium” offenses carrying as little as one year is too lenient, and two felonies getting as little as five years too lenient as well. Double it, and maybe these repeat criminals will think twice before committing their next crime.
