So she's going to be in prison with the same people she sent there?Remember the Milwaukee County judge Hannah Dugan? She's the judge who tried to have an illegal, Eduardo Flores-Ruiz, escape from being arrested by ICE by trying to sneaking him and his attorney out a private jury door from her courtroom. It led to agents having to chase the man down the street. Anyways, a jury found the judge guilty of felony obstruction, and concealing an individual to prevent arrest, a misdemeanor.
She tried to use her status as a judge to resist Trump and his policies from the bench. Now, she could be looking at up to five years in prison.
FAFO
5 years ? Not a chanceShe needs to serve every day of that 5 year sentence.
Agreed. Doubtful she serves any of it.5 years ? Not a chance
Great first step in the long road to punish and correct this criminal behavior from All InterferersI hope she has to serve time.
Make an example of her.

She will get 6 Months minimum and I’m praying for 18 monthsAgreed. Doubtful she serves any of it.

Awkward!
Soft on crime judges do not deserve soft punishment. How many additional victims did her agenda create by putting criminals back on the streets?By the looks of her, that one wouldn't survive a federal prison. Just disbar her and make sure she doesn't end up giving free legal advice at an NGO.
You do realize that is the same thing, right?
Where did you come up with the restriction on international travel?
Grasping at straws, are we? Where is this so-called banned for life in the statutes? No, it isn't. Disbarred lawyers can apply for reinstatement. She needs to be banned for life.
Some do, but you need to stay away from blanket statements. Felons can get a passport. Their destination may restrict them, but that doesn't keep them from obtaining a passport. I recently got my passport and there was not a single question about my personal life other than where I was born and when, and that I was a US citizen. Many governments do not allow convicted felons into their countries, or place restrictions on their visas.
You did a fine job, and I want to add more. This means I post a video done by a lawyer who has closely followed this case. I ran into this lawyer on the WWW years back and he is excellent. I hoped a jury would convict her for hiding the deported illegal alien. She pulled one hell of a stunt to protect him. I am not angry with her, just disgusted.I hope she has to serve time.

The Wisconsin judge convicted of obstruction for helping an immigrant evade federal officers has resigned.
Hannah Dugan was convicted on 19 December and faced calls to resign from state Republicans, who threatened to impeach her if she did not.
Dugan, who served nine years as a Milwaukee county circuit court judge, received national attention when immigration authorities tried to arrest Eduardo Flores-Ruiz, who is undocumented, attending a hearing in her courtroom. The judge confronted FBI and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents waiting outside the room to arrest Flores-Ruiz and directed them to the chief judge’s office, according to an indictment.
