The Cairo protest was about the video, and it was entirely plausible to think that the Benghazi protest was too. There was no lie. Seriously, conservatives have already failed to blame Obama for the attack, and he easily won reelection. Mitt deserved to lose, and we'd be bogged down in Syria now if he hadn't.

If the crowd in Egypt had heavy weapons I'd bet they'd have used them too. However the Egyptian population doesn't have access to such weapons. In Eastern Lybia these weapons are common amoung the militias.

Susan Rice went on all five Sunday talk shows and claimed the Benghazi attack was the result of a spontaneous protest over a video that got out of control that was is and always will be bullshit we have seen the talking points that had warnings about attacks, terrorist, and extremist and the version the administration put out that had all of that removed. You and the rest of the lefties here explain why these things were done explain why it took eight months to hear from the men who testified last week explain why Greg Hicks was demoted after questioning Rices talking points give us any other explanation besides a President trying to cover his ass and cover up a fairly big blunder in a election year.
