I picked-up this Soviet made (Tula factory) TOZ-66 12 ga SXS this morning. 20" barrels 2.75" chambers w/"rabbit ear" hammers.
They were produced at Tula in the USSR from 1968-1974.....I could not pass it up for $200.00.
It's not really a "coach gun" in the American since because it has barrels choked full and Improved Modified, it's was designed as a hunting shotgun.
Typical of Soviet manufacture, everything is very robust except the finish which is the typical brownish red shellac over Artic Birch.....The bores are chromed. Crude but cut checkering.
There's some cut engraving on it but I'd not call it "artistic".
Also there are all kinds of Soviet inspection marks on it.
