The human population is still growing. It will be a long time before it begins declining.

As a whole, yes.

But many parts of the world are indeed experiencing population decline, most notably developed (or relatively developed) economies that have little-to-no immigration, such as Japan or the former Eastern Bloc countries.

Western Europe’s decline is offset slightly by higher immigration rates.

The USA has higher birth rates than the aforementioned countries, but even here we’d likely be declining slowly if it wasn’t for the steady stream of immigration.

As countries become richer and more educated, birth rates tend to decline. It’s not automatically a bad thing.

We need to reduce our population by a large margin, back down to 200 million or less. We're 140 million over that, not counting all the illegals. We fought a World War on three fronts with a population of 133 million, and were a major supplier of our allies to boot, during and after the war. Claiming we need to sustain population at current levels is just insane. We've almost doubled our population and are even stripping off our topsoil to feed countries like Red China, who actively work to ruin us.

We're also automating everything, so there is no labor shortage, never has been actually. More people past a certain point reduces productivity and increases strain on infrastructure and generates artificial demands and inflation. The middle class was at its largest in 1970, at 62%, with a population of around 200 million; with automation, longer lifespans, we can do fine with 130 million or so again.

Importing the scum of South and Central America isn't some sort of benefit, it's in fact stupid.
