Zone1 the RCC is not from God

Romans 16:17
Are you declaring yourself to not be my Christian brother? That's really sad. You even said you would pray for me. It's not a good thing to lie about praying for someone, you know.

Romans 16:17
You said you would pray, you didn't. It's pretty simple, you lied. It's very sad to lie to the Body of Christ about prayer. You should look into that before you do it again.

I do understand that the church that is known as the Catholic Church now when it started was continuous from early believers really following Christ. But, the hierarchy of that church was not from God. Bishops while having basis from early overseers had developed into such who had offices of higher authority than anything from original Christianity, the rest of the hierarchy is totally alien to anything from God. And so, there are doctrines in it that are wrong, even while some important doctrines are still right. But where is the same understanding of salvation by God's grace? That is even more generally not understood just right.

ChURch. As a little kid attending catechism classes, one of the first things taught was, "You are the Church. You can forget about the Pope, the Vatican, the priests and nuns, the hierarchy, but never forget you are the Church. This was drilled into us in religion classes.

The number of Catholics world-wide reaches into the billions, though I suspect the number of good, practicing Catholics may be somewhat less. ;) Look at the complaints against the Catholic Church: The Pope said this; the Vatican did this; about three percent of priests did that. The complaints about Catholics as a whole are hysterical (at least Catholics find them so). These false accusations include worshiping Mary and graven images, praying like pagans, the pope and every word he speaks is infallible. Some still taunt us for being cannibals.

The Catholic Church is, and always has been, believers following Christ. It's that simple. Like all humans, we do that imperfectly, but we continue to stumble along after him, carrying our crosses, learning to love God and our fellow man.

The Pope is not infallible-EVER. He is an imperfect sinner just like every mortal is.
The bloodguilt of Catholicism has risen to the heavens.

No institution is divine.

They are all human, and some may be trying to dispense the divine.

Good luck.

Try researching and learning about Papal infallibility.

You say you are a sinner. Does this mean it is impossible for you to come to a decision?

In the same way, when a Pope comes to a decision on matters of faith or morals, that decision stands from then on. In the history of the Papacy, (over two thousand years) there have been two instances of a pope speaking ex cathedra (i.e., infallibility) on matters of Catholic faith.

The way some non-Catholics howl about this, one would think it happens twice a day and double that on Sundays. Two times. Over a two thousand year period.

How about his 100% lack of faith in God by having swiss killers protecting him instead of relying on God.

Ah, someone who lives where there is no law enforcement, fire protection, medical care, car and/or homeowners insurance. The apex of Love one another is, Jeer at others.

The Pope is a imperfect mortal. Like every mortal who ever existed, except for Jesus.

Yes, Captain Obvious. Just like the sun rises in the East. There is not a soul on earth who questions either fact.

Shrug. Cloudless, daytime skies are blue. Your turn.
You are correct, the sky is blue.. You are being mislead by Catholicism. You are a member of my human family so i have concern for your entrance into Gods kingdom. That is why i try to help you see reality. PRAY as Jesus taught all to pray to the Father.

No worries.

The RCC and all othe orgs are human institutions trying to divine inspired purpose.
