The Psychology of MAGA

I don't think you've thought this through at all. America is great because we don't discriminate.
WTF kind of lib fantasy Twilight Zone are you stuck in….1950’s racist, bigoted and discriminatory as **** America was a MUCH better nation. Look at the data. America has become a disgusting ******* shithole 37 trillion in debt, full of foreign filth and divided because it isn’t discriminatory, racist, bigoted…and because of TOLERANCE AND INCLUSION.
Admit it, you OPEN MINDED critical thinking feel-gooders and dblack fucked the place all up.

You are very sick.

Lib Logic:
“You are very sick for being so truthful….don’t you know you’re supposed to pretend.”

Being rude , hateful and obnoxious are nothing to be proud of and then to try to blame it on an entire group of people just makes it worse. Add bigot to that list. Mom would be so proud of you - NOT !

If we were to identify ourselves as MAGA and non-MAGA (which includes Americans across the political spectrum), perhaps we can all agree on one thing:

MAGAs appear to get enjoyment -- real enjoyment -- out of seeing non-MAGAs in some kind of distress over MAGA's actions. They cheer on Trump's constant insults and trolling, JD Vance's attacks on our former European allies, reactions to news of the rapid dismantling of the government, the release of violent Capitol criminals. They celebrate it.

So I got to wondering what this is, from a psychological perspective, and I asked Chat GPT (which is pretty freaking amazing if you haven't tried it) "is there a psychological term for a person who enjoys being disliked?"

Here's what I got:

Yes, there are several psychological concepts that could explain why someone might want to be disliked:
  1. Counterdependency – A defense mechanism where a person deliberately pushes others away or resists attachment, sometimes by behaving in a way that makes them disliked.
  2. Masochistic Personality Traits – Some individuals may have a subconscious desire to create situations where they are rejected or disliked, deriving a sense of validation or control from negative treatment.
  3. Rebellious or Oppositional Behavior (Oppositional Defiant Disorder - ODD) – Some people, especially in childhood or adolescence, may act in ways that provoke negative reactions as a way of asserting control or defiance.
  4. Self-Sabotaging Behavior – Rooted in low self-esteem or deep-seated beliefs of unworthiness, some individuals may seek out disapproval as a way to confirm negative self-perceptions.
  5. Inferiority Complex – A person with an inferiority complex may act in a way that provokes dislike as a means of reinforcing their own negative self-view.
  6. Schadenfreude-Seeking (Reverse Narcissism) – Some people enjoy being disliked because it gives them a sense of power or uniqueness, as if they are above social norms or expectations.
  7. Martyr Complex – A person with a martyr complex may subconsciously desire rejection or dislike to feel morally superior or to justify a belief that the world is against them.

Do you KNOW ANYONE who is a Trump supporter MAC? Your posts tell me the answer is 'No'.

~~~~~~
Have you made that clear to the college kids and violent protesters that are supporting anti-semitism.
I know many and to this date they cannot explain why they like and support trump. There is no definite answer to be heard. They either ignore or belittle any attempt at discussing this quandary. Imagine trusting a prolific liar and criminal. I can't see it.
Also those MAgas don't even want to discuss trump anymore. I live in Nebraska , a deep red state? and republicans here are brushing him off like a dirty suit.
Trump's approval rating in Nebraska is 54%.
Would you like to follow up your stupid statement with another one?
Maga this.
Maga that.
Maga all thinks the same.
Because that is the only way we make these retarded arguments.
And blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.
Calm down, Rambo.
I'm not getting into your sandbox with you.
Why should he calm down.
You are the one posting the accustatory OP's. In fact, this thread should be shut down because of the inflamatory nature of the OP.
You've spent the entire post election period trying to figure out how a smart guy like yourself (in your own eyes) sided with a group who replaced a Celery Stalk with a mushroom and lost the election in a huge way.
And you have devoted an incredible amount of time to justifying your loss in your alcohol addled brain.
Yeah, I can see that. No doubt a big part of this is that they feel incredibly victimized and aggrieved. This is their revenge, their "retribution".
Revenge ? Retribution.
They are tired of not being heard. Which is what you and you RINO ass kissing ilk have team up with the left to do in the past....shut them out.
So they told you to go eff yourself and elected someone who stood for them.
But SHAME on THEM for putting up a candidate. Who gave them permission.
Tough stuff, Charlie Brown. Why don't you get yourself some grief counseling (now that you've realized that your ass was kicked by a bunch of people you feel superior to) and move on.
Your constant moaning and groaning is getting real boring.
Happy No King's Day.
What day should we have had with Biden ?
Happy No Celery Stalks day ?
Happy No cabal's day ?
Happy don't lie to us day ?
You jerks.
Mac, do this board a favor. Just start hotboxing your own farts, smelling them, and telling everyone how great they smell. It would be no more impactful for any of us but a heck of a lot more entertaining.
Hey Mac1958, when you get this kind of a response of SweetSue92, you know you've done something special.
Moron.
And you believe the polls, ? I'd rather put my trust iny republican neighbors. They know when they've been had. Not going to talk about it much , just shrug it off as another loss.
"MAGAs" don't want to discuss Trump with Trump Haters because you all are so emotionally unstable, friendships and relationships would end and possibly fights would ensue. I have friendships with several Trump Haters but we all know to not even remotely talk politics. It is sad that is how it is, but that is where we are.
Rooted in low self-esteem or deep-seated beliefs of unworthiness, some individuals may seek out disapproval as a way to confirm negative self-perceptions.
Oh my........
Mac1958 has us all figured out.
Tell me about my negative self-perceptions. Except I am not MAGA.
Remember, you moron. I am the one who calls MAGA a sales pitch. While I voted for Trump 3 times, I am not all that fond of the guy. Which means I was fond of the others less. And spare me the DBlack type lecture.
You lost. Get over it.
