A lot of other prices are still holding 30-40% up from 4 years ago.

Looking at pressure washers that used to be $550-650 now are $900 and the quality has dropped drastically. Some have downright scary defects. Pressure manifolds and pumps flying apart or off shooting shrapnel everywhere. That sort of thing with less than 2 hours of use.

I don't have an opinion really. I just happened to look at the price when I was grabbing a dozen---although ours usually come out of north carolina which reportedly is bird flu free now so the price does seem to be high, but whatever. I don't really expect grocery prices to come down much once they go up. At some point people will just get used to it.

The U.S. is importing eggs from Turkey and South Korea to address a severe shortage caused by an avian influenza outbreak and supply chain disruptions. Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins announced that the U.S. will import hundreds of millions of eggs from these countries to help bring down prices. Turkey has already commenced shipments of approximately 15,000 tonnes of eggs to the USA., with deliveries expected to continue through July 2025. South Korea has also begun exporting eggs to the U.S. The decision to source eggs from these countries follows extensive negotiations to ensure compliance with American food safety regulations. The U.S. is also in talks with other potential suppliers, including Poland and Lithuania, to further expand egg imports.
