The Optics Of Trying To Remove Trump From Office

The voting rights act was gutted by SCOTUS on those grounds.

The letter explains that the Georgia legislature determines who gets the electoral votes and tells them to convene a special session for “reasons” that have nothing to do with the DoJ.

You think the AG should have signed and sent the letter despite not agreeing with anything it says, right?

It wasn't gutted, it was clarified, and it's still enforceable.

I think if there was a question of election integrity, I would hope the DOJ looks into it.

STFU shitbird.
I'm going to tell you like it is:
Democrats stole the 2020 election with help from the media and big tech.
If they try it again in America, Lord have mercy on their souls because Americans are not going to.

They did look into it and found nothing.

That’s why the AG refused to send it. Do you think he should have done as Trump instructed him?

So the problem is you don’t like how people use their freedom of speech.

1. trump will never win the popular vote, and probably not the electoral either. trump 47 will owe his office to the congress and supreme court.

but when vance and the bros call amendment 25 on his fat ass, do not blame the dems,
LOL. So, you actually think Vance would do that?

Judge Crater and Jimmy Hoffa are still "missing". Doesn't mean they weren't killed.

Doesn't matter, it got sent. Nothing illegal about it.

Imprisoning you for the death of Jimmy Hoffa makes about as much sense as throwing out the people’s votes.

It matters a lot because you are about to reelect Trump. Do you think the AG should have done what Trump said to do? We both know how you feel about civil servants refusing orders from the president. Why are you afraid to say it?

It was gutted. The pre-approval clause removed.

Which means instead of getting permission to change the law, they can just change the law, and if the DOJ thinks it violates the act, they can sue them and get it resolved by the next federal election (maybe, it might take longer)

I think Dems playing lawfare games better be ready for it to rebound on their asses.

Looking forward to it.

Or they stole the election with the help from people no longer wanting the guy who totally messed up our response to COVID, to stay in charge.
After losing 300,000 Americans, 16 million unemployed, the country in recession, and the only hope a couple of bogus drugs the president was pushing that didn't work.

Yeah.... keep doing the same thing, or vote for the guy who had a plan for COVID.

That doesn't invalidate my point to Moron-er that the Feds can have input into State elections of a federal nature, and even State level elections themselves.

Um, that's how things are supposed to work in our society.

And as expected you continue to run and hide like a wimp.

You’re afraid to say what you’re voting for and what you believe. I can’t imagine being such a coward.

Call it preemptive, but they're giving federal workers the talk on "The no fear act".

The No FEAR Act prohibits discrimination based on political affiliation, as well as other factors such as race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, and marital status

LOL, now apply that to places like NY, LA And other progressive shitholes.

I'm voting for Trump of course.

I've stated that several times in several other threads.
Of course you are. But you won’t even address how he has tried to govern.

You defend him because nothing “actually happened”

But you also refuse to discuss the people in government that stopped him from doing what he wanted.

Why won’t you say whether the AG should have sent the letter as Trump ordered?

In this specific case of your side's hemming and hawing about "ruining democracy"

I would have if I was the AG. There was nothing illegal in that letter.
