The Optics Of Trying To Remove Trump From Office

They'll point to Trump never got to carry out his illegal plans, as Trump following the law.
Trump followed the law, not because he suddenly realized they were wrong, but because his "best people" followed the law and the Constitution to stop him.
Marty had made it abundantly clear how he feels about government officials who refused to do as Trump told them.

He has nothing but hate and scorn for those people.

The Dems tried and failed to impeach Trump within a month of his taking offiice in 2017.

Following the law and the constitution only gets in the way of getting what you want.

Yeah, and Authur Bremer didn't stop George Wallace from being Governor of Alabama.

That you had to go with an attempted assassination that actually injured the target severely as a comparison shows how weaksauce your argument is.

As I said, Arthur Bremer didn't "STOP" George Wallace from being governor.

Just like the insurrection of January 6th didn't "STOP" the presidential certification.

They failed, but they sure tried.

Again, the comparison is pathetic.

The only person killed directly on that day was one of the protesters.

Again, the comparison is pathetic.

On May 15, 1972, Wallace was shot five times by Arthur Bremer

On January 6, 2021 thousands stormed the Capitol.

They both failed, but that doesn't mean they didn't try.

OK, so it is starting to look like it is very possible that Trump will not only win the electoral college but may win the popular vote as well. This means that a majority of voters will have elected Trump knowing that democrats have convicted him 34 times (and wanting more) and have also accused him of being a danger to the country and wants to take democracy away.

A majority of voters would have elected Trump, knowing all that before voting. So, they either decided that they know democrats have weaponized the legal system against Trump for political purposes, or have decided that they actually prefer a 34 times convicted felon who is a danger to the country and will take democracy away to Kamala Harris.

So, what are the optics if democrats try to remove Trump from the presidency if the majority of voters (AKA the popular vote) voted him into office knowing all this before they voted?
The ends justify the means. :(
They will destroy Democracy to prevent Trump from destroying Democracy.
Do they even listen to their own bullshit?

Trump Questioned the election results, nothing actually happened to stop the vote from being certified or confirmed. Biden took office when he was supposed to.
When Trump told the DoJ to publish a letter saying the election was fraudulent despite having no evidence of it, you think they should have done it. Right?
