Genocide would be if Israel were trying to invade Lebanon, Syria, or Jordan, seize hold of their territory, and eliminate all the people. Gaza and West bank are not separate individual sovereign countries in themselves. Therefore if Lebanon cannot control what happens in their own country, Israel has every right to retaliate to those attacks.

I know this is news to many Americans, but it’s not hard to conclude is correct. From 1948 on they’ve lost their land and thousands have been murdered and maimed by Israel. Gaza was an open air prison subject to the dictates and occasional pogroms by Israel.

The events of 10/7 were the result of this oppression. If you were oppressed for decades, wouldn’t you do something?
