2. Sometimes you create a double standard to camouflage from the fact that you really are feeding off their opposition and actually need it to justify constant war desired against a foe, real or imagined, because there is money in war.

The irony is that with peace, all borders would be the same and all the countries of the Middle East could turn 100% of their attention to economic production, trade, industry, and tourism, easily doubling the quality of life for Jewish people there while likely increasing the quality of life for many Arabs and Persian by 10-fold.
