It's a part of the griftOf all the stupid shit, childish idiocy I think this one takes the cake. Trump is using the rubble from the East wing for some golf course construction I guess. Obviously it's being used as landfill.
And this is causing an uproar?

Is Trump using the rubble from the East Wing to improve a DC golf course?
The White House’s East Wing is being demolished this week to make room for President Donald Trump’s $300 million ballroomwww.independent.co.uk
I mean I kind of half agreed with the people who oppose taking down a piece of History... Although from what I've been reading it's been known for some time that the White House needed some type of high capacity, official reception room and really did not have one.
Aside from the fact that I disagree vehemently with Trump on his interior decoration choices it's probably a pretty good idea.
Was it necessary to take down the East wing?
I have no idea.
But rubble is rubble.... Does the media actually think anyone is going to get all twisted up and lose sleep over where the East Wing runble goes?
I mean, how the hell do you disrespect rubble? Lol. Is there some legal motion afoot to charge Trump with theft of government property because he used the rubble in a particular way?
If he decided to move it to a special dedicated Park called the East Wing rubble Park he would be criticized for that too I'm sure.
Jo
Cite the statute violated. You have to call it how you see it. No other president would have done such an egregious and illegal act. You are blind and if you can't see that. The White House is a national treasure. Trump did not have the right to do this . He is only a temporary occupant of the people's house.
Lies.If Trump had not spent the last ten months turning the American presidency into a combination of classic Mafia family and modern neofascist regime, and if he had been demonstrating some calm reason, intelligence, decency and the SLIGHTEST HINT of maturity to his overall approach to governance, I suspect this issue would not be nearly as controversial as it has been.
But he has decided to go down that road. It appears to be all he knows. So yeah, people outside his cult are going to be a little touchy about stuff in general. That's the way it goes. Human nature.
Sorry bro the law is the law.
No, because people would assume Trump was pocketing the money. Also, how labor intensify would that process be?They should have sold the windows and doors and bricks of the East Wing to raise money for charity.
People would love to have an authentic souvenir of the White House.
It's rubble for crisakes.... What will they protest next? Excess bowel movements? No, because people would assume Trump was pocketing the money. Also, how labor intensify would that process be?
They’ve already protested cow farts. So, that’s no leap. It's rubble for crisakes.... What will they protest next? Excess bowel movements?
I agree. You notice I was addressing another post about selling it and donating the proceeds to charity. It's rubble for crisakes.... What will they protest next? Excess bowel movements?
Probably not.....dear OP,
one might be concerned if such rubble contains asbestos AND, from all indications - no such precautions were taken either before demolition, or during; thus putting workers, staff, & the surrounding public at risk for some really bad health problems.
sincerely,
playtime.
ps ( donny hates pesky regulations, & it looks like he kinda skipped right over them.

Bingo.Damn, some of you need to have your eyes checked. The article clearly states that dirt was moved to the golf course, not rubble. My guess is there weren't any DEI hires, so any rubble being moved was tested and disposed of properly if any asbestos was detected.
No kidding, what "indications" are you seeing?dear OP,

Read 1,076It`s historic building ayehole. WTF is wrong with you nuts?
That's what I mean. There is nothing in law that requires you to support such corrupt self-dealing.
Also nothing in law preventing Congress from impeaching Trump and/or his lackeys for it.
The facade of the East Wing of the White House came crumbling down on Monday as construction began on President Trump’s 90,000-square-foot ballroom, a project that will transform one of the most recognizable buildings in the world and nearly double the size of the existing structure.
What does the above question have to do with what I wrote? Your debate skills suck.Right no one died protecting America and it's people's freedoms. What on earth do you value ?
WTF? The east wing is people's freedom? Or people should die protecting the east wing?Right no one died protecting America and it's people's freedoms. What on earth do you value ?
trump is tearing down the WH like he is tearing down the country.I looks as if he filed a claim between residencies.
I hope he gets it all,
but its up to congress & the courts.
