Did Stalinberg’s link leave out its being financed privately?Cause who cares what it costs right?
We can always cut healthcare to pay for it
Two things. 1. Work on the Washington Monument began over 40 years after George's death. He had nothing to do with commissioning its construction. 2. It was in recognition of his unparalleled service to the country at its founding. So I take it you think the Washington Monument should be torn down?
No, I don't. Trump is absolutely among the top three presidents, and will most likely end up as the greatest of all time. I say he is there already. A monument to him would be absolutely fitting. Two things. 1. Work on the Washington Monument began over 40 years after George's death. He had nothing to do with commissioning its construction. 2. trump is America's worst prez. See the difference?
Spoken like a cultist. You know every historian of all stripes disagrees with you, right?Trump is absolutely among the top three presidents
Leftwing 'historians' disagree. But they aren't grounded in reality at all. And who defines 'historian'? Said leftwingers? I'm a historian, and I say Trump is the greatest of all time.Spoken like a cultist. You know every historian of all stripes disagrees with you, right?
That’s about the caliber of “historians” that think that.Leftwing 'historians' disagree. But they aren't grounded in reality at all. And who defines 'historian'? Said leftwingers? I'm a historian, and I say Trump is the greatest of all time.
I was at the Brandenburg gate and hope his monument tops that monument.
The Triumphal Arch' monument is a proposed structure in Washington, D.C., modeled after Paris' Arc de Triomphe. It is set to commemorate America's 250th anniversary and is expected to be a centerpiece of the White House's plans for the celebration. The arch will be located near the Lincoln Memorial and serve as a gateway to Washington. The construction is expected to begin in the next two months, with a total cost estimated at around $100 million. The project is being funded privately, with funds from the new White House ballroom project.
Looks like he's getting a two-fer with the donated ballroom money.

President Donald Trump revealed Wednesday how soon an Arc de Triomphe-style monument will be constructed in the nation's capital to commemorate America’s 250th anniversary in 2026.
Trump on Wednesday said the construction of the monument, nicknamed the "Arc de Trump," will begin "sometime in the next two months," according to a report from Politico.
Well this is sure gonna send the TDS crowd into a tizzy.
Just waiting for them to compare it to the Brandenburg Gate.
Arc de Trumpeth.
It’s funny how you have this need to be lead around by people with titles. It’s like you can’t think on your own without an appeal to authority. So you then go find that authority you are looking for to verify yourself. Sad really. That’s about the caliber of “historians” that think that.
You

The Trump administration Friday unveiled new renderings of its proposed triumphal arch, a 250-foot structure planned to tower over a traffic circle near Arlington National Cemetery.
The memorial, dubbed “Independence Arch,” is part of President Donald Trump’s broader effort to leave a mark on the nation’s capitol and to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence this year.
It's not that I don't realize how much you guys live to troll those of us who think trump is doing permanent damage to the country. Cuz........you know........he is. But this, this can't be okay with you.......can it? A permanent structure in the capital city celebrating what triumphs exactly? A proposal for $1.5T in military spending partially paid for by cuts to the social safety net. The costs for which will be deferred to the states? A measles outbreak attributable to an unqualified quack running HHS? The abuses of ICE? The ruination of the DoJ? A litany of broken campaign promises? Near historic unpopularity?
This is unjustified self-aggrandizement on an epic scale. It's not the kind of thing a US prez has ever done. EVER. Because it's undignified, it's classless, and it's a physical display of monumental, unbridled ego. IWO, it perfectly exemplifies trump. But it has no place in America.
PS It's okay to admit you're repulsed even if I started this thread.
In a few years we can build these to enter and exit Progressive cities. The Progressive Moron Curtain.
Will they dare to put the NAZI. Flag on it or will they just put trump flag up ?
