The metaphorical wrecking ball analogy takes a physical form.

What I'm hoping happens is any company that contributed to the construction of the ballroom is boycotted by customers. There needs to be a consequence for participating in this travesty.
They tried that with the pyramids.
What about other Presidents.
What about obama's Chernobyl library.

Won't matter, those companies most likely are exclusively used by the government.

I wish it were, you would be in ICU, DUMB ASS.

Construction started in 2010, idiot .

The $$$ was allocated in 2008.

Nov 12, 2021 — Wollman Rink fell into disrepair under the Trump Organization. This weekend, it reopens with a new look.

The New York City ice rink run by former President Donald Trump’s business organization was a visible wreck. Located in Central Park, Wollman Rink has been a staple of wintertime recreation in the city since 1950, but in the years since being taken over by the Trump Organization in the 1980s, maintenance had fallen by the wayside.

The clubhouse where you rent skates and lockers was a jumble of crowded spaces and decaying storage facilities. Some of its bathrooms lacked basic plumbing. Its exterior trellis was falling apart. Of more than 50 doors in the clubhouse and concessions building, only three worked.

Gushee says updating the rink was no small task. “It was run with very little maintenance, no [capital expenditures] for many, many years. So it went downhill,” he says. “We basically gutted the inside.”

Thank you for the bump but that article...well what if he is entitled to the $$$ ?

He is not entitled to shit, raid on his Mar-A-Lago yelded highly classified documents he clearly retained illegally. There was absolutely zero finding of impropriety by the law enforcement.

Him now demanding hundreds of millions of dollars for FBI daring to stop his criminal act is absolutely ******* insane.

If so, why were the 'illegal' documents returned to Him?

Documents were illegal for him to retain while not in office dum dum.

He is now back in office, can retain ANY gov documents as POTUS and has to RETURN THEM when his term is up.

You didn't "school" anyone, you ******* retard.
You got caught posting lies.

You people deserve Trump, you're SOOOOOOOOO..........Gullible.

Tossed out of court.

Which had ZERO to do with merrits of the case. Degenerate Trumptard named Cannon dropped the case on ludicrous caims that special prosecutor was TOO INDEPENDENT from Biden's DOJ and thus his appointment was improper. A finding that was almost certainy would be overturned on appeal, just like Cannon's other Trumptard rulings.

Case was then refiled in another court.

There was never any finding of enforcement impropriety that Trump now wants hundreds of millions of dollars for.

Mar-A-Lago was searched by the book, warrant in hand, and yelded exactly what FBI was suspecting Trump was criminally retaining.

Dude the people who headed the raid were the same ones who did Crossfire Hurricane.

There was only one document they didn't find......any guess what file wasn't recovered?

Polarizing and unconventional leader! lol. :)

Trump's White House East Wing Demolition: The Facts

Yes, Trump is indeed demolishing the White House's East Wing to build a massive new ballroom. Here are the key details:

Demolition Details

  • The entire East Wing structure is being torn down.
  • The project will create a 90,000-square-foot ballroom.
  • Estimated cost: $300 million (increased from original $200 million estimate).
  • Fully funded by private donors and Trump himself.

Legal and Normative Considerations

The demolition is technically legal due to a specific exemption:

  • The White House is exempt from the National Historic Preservation Act's review process.
  • Section 107 of the act excludes the White House from required public review.
  • However, this is considered unusual, as previous presidents typically voluntarily submitted renovation plans.

Controversial Aspects

  • Trump initially claimed the ballroom would "not interfere with the current building"
  • He later stated that "to do it properly, we had to take down the existing structure".
  • The East Wing, built in 1942, has historical significance
  • Conservation groups like the National Trust for Historic Preservation have objected.

Funding

Donors include major tech and corporate entities such as:

  • Amazon
  • Apple
  • Google
  • Microsoft
  • Meta
  • Comcast
  • And others

Current Status

As of October 23, 2025, the demolition is nearly complete, with construction crews now focusing on debris removal.

While technically legal, the demolition has sparked significant controversy due to its extensive nature and potential historical implications. The White House has defended the project as a necessary renovation to create a more functional entertaining space. :)

Dude the people who headed

It doesn't matter who dummy, the only thing that matters would be any finding of improper conduct.

There was none shown during the trial.

FBI showed reasonabe suspicion, got the warrant from the court, searched Mar-A-Lago and found exactly what was suspected - criminaly retained classified documents. On top of that Trump commited blatant Obstruction of Justice by trying to conceal evidence of this criminality.

If ACTUALLY no one was above the law Trump would be headed for prison right about now, instead of having idiots like you trying to justify him self-dealing tax-payer money as restitution for his own criminal conduct.

And it was only done because trump refused to comply with a subpoena for their return.
