The metaphorical wrecking ball analogy takes a physical form.

The ballroom is certainly classier than a basettball court.
A preservation group is pushing for a pause in the demolition of the East Wing of the White House for a $200 million ballroom proposed by President Trump.

“We respectfully urge the Administration and the National Park Service to pause demolition until plans for the proposed ballroom go through the legally required public review processes,” National Trust for Historic Preservation President and CEO Carol Quillen said in a Tuesday statement.

Show me the money

Trump says so
He says he is contributing

He says he has the most transparent administration ever
Why can’t he show where the $200 million came from?
The president is both a financial whiz and a construct whiz. He's also the top negotiator in the world. So you know this project will be on time and under budget. How about the monument to 0bama? Originally slated to open in 2021, the opening has now been pushed back for the fifth time to Spring 2026. Way over budget for this fiasco. Projected now to go to $1.6 billion. A monument to leftwing incompetence.

Trump doesn't need a salary. He's already made billions selling presidential access.

Right now the going rate for a semi-private meeting is $2 million.

A group audience goes for $200,000 per head.
You clown yeah Trump's making money he's in this whole thing to make money you stupid f*** he risk his life to make money, he's was making plenty of money and everybody liked them before this... only idiots like you buy into that stupidity you're a moron get some psychological help

It's the White House, not the Trump House.
Every president before him tried to preserve it as the house the people built.

And any changes, like putting in a bowling lane, were minor, and reversible.

This is like carving "Trump was here" into the Resolute Desk.
Harry Truman completely gutted the place you moron....upgrades need to happen ... Did you practice being this stupid or yl were just born this way? 🤔

My own 2 cents.

I don’t give a crap about a White House ballroom. In fact, I see nothing wrong with renovation of the East Wing in general. But maybe not for the sake of a ballroom.

I don’t care about the old WH swimming pool. I don’t care about the WH bowling alley.

But these things do occasionally happen. And it grabs the attention of our liberals and leftist loons because — talking pointlesses seem to matter far more to them than the substantive work being accomplished by the second Trump Administration.
