The Congress dumped the decision onto Bush. If Bush had decided not to invade Iraq we would not have invaded, if Bush did decide to invade we would invade. It was Bush's decision, and Congress let Bush decide, it was Bush's baby. Why did only some members of Congress have the same information as the president, did that mean the Congress and the president did not have the same information on Iraq? So, Congress passed a war resolution and some did not have all the information.

the leadership in the House and Senate....the heads of the relevant committees.....all had the same info.........

On Sept. 18, 2002, CIA director George Tenet briefed President Bush in the Oval Office on top-secret intelligence that Saddam Hussein did not have weapons of mass destruction, according to two former senior CIA officers. Bush dismissed as worthless this information from the Iraqi foreign minister, a member of Saddam’s inner circle, although it turned out to be accurate in every detail. Tenet never brought it up again.

Nor was the intelligence included in the National Intelligence Estimate of October 2002, which stated categorically that Iraq possessed WMD. No one in Congress was aware of the secret intelligence that Saddam had no WMD as the House of Representatives and the Senate voted, a week after the submission of the NIE, on the Authorization for Use of Military Force in Iraq. The information, moreover, was not circulated within the CIAamong those agents involved in operations to prove whether Saddam had WMD.

The Dem's are fighting the school vouchers because they don't want the poor to have a better education.
They lie about this all the time too.
The Dem's just want to keep adding money, doesn't want competition and don't do a thing to change the way the school system is run.

School vouchers also cut in Dems' ability to through money at their political, bureaucratic, and union cronies. A bloated education budget keeps that in tact. If failing schools are shut down because kids in that district are using vouchers, that's less money in the pot.

Obama and the Democrats have produced the longest period of low growth in post war history, all the while spending trillions of dollars.
Obama's foreign policy has given us:
-A failed surge in Afghanistan that cost more lives than Bush's war there.
-A resurgent Russia that is taking over Ukraine, the first conquest since WW2 on European soil
-A nuclear Iran
-Bashar Assad still in power in Syria despite US policy that he must be removed
-Chaos in Libya
-Chaos in Yemen
-A failed "pivot to the East"
-A foreign policy principle that says "Dont do stupid shit." I didnt make that up either.

Bush was George Washington compared to Obama.

The Middle East was relatively stable until Bush went in and destabilized the region by taking out Sadam. The whole region was a quagmire for 2000 years and it still is but that's Obama's fault. Saddam was a hard line dictator. He didn't allow Islamic Terrorist Groups to operate inside his country. Furthermore he never allowed the groups he funded in Palestine or Iran to have access to such weapons.

So in reality that threat came because of the invasion, or rather the failed occupation.

The urban legend of the Salman Pak “terrorist training facilities” has been circulating in the fetid swamps of the militarist right for years and was thoroughly incredible even before the invasion revealed any such facilities to have been training grounds for Hussein’s fedayeen. For whatever it’s worth, in the May 12, 2003 New Yorker Seymour Hersh has reported the rather more reasonable claim that the Salman Pak camp, at least, was designed for counter-terrorism. Thus Hersh:

In separate interviews with me, however, a former C.I.A. station chief and a former military intelligence analyst said that the camp near Salman Pak had been built not for terrorism training but for counter-terrorism training. In the mid-eighties, Islamic terrorists were routinely hijacking aircraft. In 1986, an Iraqi airliner was seized by pro-Iranian extremists and crashed, after a hand grenade was triggered, killing at least sixty-five people. (At the time, Iran and Iraq were at war, and America favored Iraq.) Iraq then sought assistance from the West, and got what it wanted from Britain’s MI6. The C.I.A. offered similar training in counter-terrorism throughout the Middle East. “We were helping our allies everywhere we had a liaison,” the former station chief told me. Inspectors recalled seeing the body of an airplane—which appeared to be used for counter-terrorism training—when they visited a biological-weapons facility near Salman Pak in 1991, ten years before September 11th. It is, of course, possible for such a camp to be converted from one purpose to another.
