The Lie of Octobor Jobs Report

More than just the unemployment.... plenty of folks were not paying rent either.

You have the rent freeze, an increase in SNAP's which they say is the largest increase since the program started, and now this study.

Most people will look for any way to not work and survive comfortably.

So 58k a year. I don't buy that but whatever. Others got millions.

Why not? You only pay federal taxes when you collect unemployment. SS, Medicare, FICA, state and local taxes are not paid. When you consider those taxes, yes, it's equal to 58K a year.

58k vs Millions. You don't pay much of that on your Capital Gains either.

I know all about it.
I unfortunately have an adopted sister that is a human sponge.
4 kids by 3 different men, unmarried and hasn't had a job in 7 or 8 years.
A new boyfriend every few month, most don't have a job either. Including the one she is currently with.
The past year and a half she has received so much damn money they bought laptops/new big screen TV/clothes /video games/ new iPhones - the fucking list goes on.
For what??? She didn't have a job BEFORE Covid!!! Why more money???

The higher demand of goods that the idiot left is bragging about is artificial. It isn't real. It is a few million bums and leeches spending OUR TAX DOLLARS on junk they shouldn't be able to afford.

“Jobs Up, Wages Up, Unemployment Down” – Joe Biden Celebrates Abysmal September Jobs Report – Worst Report of the Year

8 Oct 2021 ~~ By Cristina Laila
The September jobs report came out Friday morning and it’s worse than August’s numbers.
Biden’s joke of an economy only added 194,000 jobs in September and the unemployment rate fell by 0.4%, the US Bureau Labor Statistics reported.
The ‘experts’ predicted 500,000 jobs would be added but they were wrong again.
Biden’s disastrous jobs report was so bad that it shocked the CNBC panel as the numbers rolled in during a live broadcast.
CNN said it’s the worst jobs report of the year.
Joe Biden however celebrated and said, “Jobs up, wages up, unemployment down,” during a presser from the White House on Friday. “That’s progress.”

Joe Biden turned his back on the press and shuffled away after reading from a teleprompter for 10 minutes.

Comment:
Corrupt Progressive Marxist/DSA Democrat Commies think they own us and sell us out to stuff their own pockets, our justice system has been bastardized and weaponized against us, the cops are BLM support squads, the military is full of America haters arming the Taliban, we don't have a border, our country is not even run by Americans anymore, the globalist overlords and China own them all! Its time to throw the "kings" tea into the bay and get this party started.
How ridiculously corrupt are statistics that demonstrate Joey Xi and his handlers exponentially missed the jobs created projection yet somehow there is a decline in unemployment rate?
it just might be the result of millions of illegal aliens crossing the border the past year taking whatever they can get at less then minimum wage driving down the unemployment number and distorting wage growth numbers...
The Quisling Media narrative is the 'Delta' variant virus is slowing commerce and job growth rather then the disastrous PM/DSA Democrat Commie policies put forth by this administration...
Look at ANY live event, attendees are packed to capacity with zero masks and social distancing.
I continue to got a kick out of the, "We don't hate America, We LOVE America!" from the PM/DSA Dem's. I always ask: Well, if you love it, why do find it so important to "Fundamentally Transform America" into Marxist Socialism? [crickets]

Wait, so if it was good the tRumplings going to crucify the administration, and it's not good so the tRumplings are going to crucify the administration.

Typical.

You see this still makes no sense to me. Children or not, we all need income of some kind. Before the virus people found a way to have their kids cared for while working. Before the virus, schools were open as they are today. So it's not computing for some reason.

I'm retired now and my income comes from government and my rental properties. But when I was working, I didn't want to miss a day. I live by my own creed that every day you don't work is a day you missed out on making money. Maybe I'm just old or something? :eusa_shhh:
:) Surely not.

But schools are not really open. They are on the edge of closing in many places, and there are constant quarantines and dozens of kids get caught in each quarantine and have to stay home --- if I were a young mother at this time, no way I'd be out working in such a situation!

Remember that young women working -- or any women working -- is still a new phenomenon. And we do have to do most of the shopping, housework, cleaning, laundry, cooking, childcare --- and it is very hard to do that and work outside the home too. I never did and my mother never did --- my own refusal was idiosyncratic and I did a lot of farm/horse boarding stuff, but I didn't work outside till things in my life changed a lot, and frankly, I hate working for anyone else. Slavery. I don't approve of young women farming out their babies to god-only-knows-who, usually Spanish-speaking illegals, really. Why have babies if you don't really want to raise them? It's nuts. Much of it is the absence of any men these days to provide the family income: the fall of the family in America.

However, women working is still tenuous and it sure doesn't surprise me that people are doing without extra income if they possibly can and staying home during this catastrophe. I think this economy will get worse before it gets better. Maybe a lot worse.

And they find these ways, too. There is a LOT of illegal black market activity, IMO ---- our neighbor across the street is having regular "appointments" of some sort at 10:30 at night, quick in and out, and given the drug activity over there with various renters for decades, I'm worried about it.

But the government handouts --- we just really didn't know what to do with ours! We put some in savings, and then started giving it to younger relatives. Of course people can live awhile on all that, especially with the excellent point a poster just made that they are not paying rent, and have not paid for nearly a year and a half! That could amount to a LOT of money, much more than the government handouts. No need to go to work. And with kids out of school, moms at least don't want to.

Those millions are helping Americans across the board, not hurting our country like paying people to stay home does. Those millions are not why our inflation rate is over 5% now.

What school is closed down? To my knowledge, all schools are open.

I think a lot of money got put away which is why the recovery is so slow. Years ago when you went on unemployment, you had to struggle to make ends meet and give up some things. So people got lazy and are now living on that money they socked away and our industry is hurting for workers.

Women with children have been working at least the past 3 decades and regardless how, always found a way for their children to be cared for. Single-family homes which were promoted by the Democrats took off years ago and it's still happening today in even higher percentages. I don't buy that their only option is to stay home.

Well, maybe they are, if you've paid attention to that. But I've been watching the quarantine situation, and there's a lot of schools throwing whole classes, I guess, out at once for ten days or whatever they are doing. Instantly. Unpredictably. Private schools and public schools. No one can hope to work outside the home and then suddenly have child care again, with no notice.

AND the teacher shortage (and all other school employees: cafeteria ladies, substitutes, etc.) is apparently at crisis. And the kids have lost whole grades (today's story said 4th graders somewhere lost two grades of reading skills) with the no-school thing they did. I wouldn't have cooperated with that crazy online thing, unless my child actually wanted to ---- I'd have taught her myself.

I'm just saying that among the jobs lost because they can't find people are school employees, and that makes school itself less tenable as a way to keep moms working. It's all circular, a positive feedback loop.

No, of course it isn't ----------- but staying home IS the option they are taking. That's the problem, if it is a problem. Personally, I think it's better if women don't get forced to work so hard. But if they don't, shortages do develop, and that's where we are.

It's an interesting question.
The job figures are AWFUL, but it's not because there aren't jobs: jobs are going begging. Every store I see and all the commercial messages to my email carry advertisements for more employees!
But is this a problem? If people (women or men) simply do not want to work in a dire situation and don't HAVE to, is that a problem?? I'm really not sure it is. What do you think?

The freeloaders got a taste of not working, soon these worthless dipshits will be living on the streets pushing around a stolen shopping cart. :auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg:

Not working is addicting. I'm still confused how people do it with no income.

Of course it's a problem. That's partly where our inflation is coming from. Companies are fighting for labor which requires paying people more than they are actually worth. Higher prices at the store is only a secondary concern to not being able to get a product you need.

The point of the OP was to discuss how there are millions of jobs out there that Dementia never created. They were always there but the left will try to give him credit as if he did something.

Let's see here....

The Democrats used Covid as a means to artificially drive up wages they have wanted for a long time, by draining federal coffers to give free money to low income earners to stay home. Which indeed, drove up wages.
At the same time, low income earners spend every dime they get on cool stuff and toys.
This also dramatically increased an artificial demand on products and services.

BOTH of these has created 30 year high inflation rises.

The Democrats.... ignore this the same way they ignore the border crises.
Just don't talk about it. To them, not talking about a problem is the same as if there IS no problem.

Now that the gravy train of federal unemployment has ended, I predict much higher jobs numbers for the month. It's only a guess, but I don't have a crystal ball like Democrats do.

The jobs number for September won't be available until October. If my prediction proves accurate, I also predict the MSM and all liberals will be embellishing Biden as if he had anything to do with it. Well in a way he did. He persuaded people not to go to work until September. But giving Biden credit for a great jobs report would be like giving credit to the arsonist for putting out a fire that he started.

The October lie is right around the corner. They will lie about job creation when there really is none. Millions of jobs were always there and have been for months. It's just that industry was competing with government for workers, and government won. Even in states like mine where the Governors stopped the federal unemployment, little improvements were made because various groups were suing their state to have the fed money reinstated, and of course if they won, would mean those still on unemployment would get all that fed money back retroactively.

My prediction is at least 750,000 jobs, the MSM will glorify Biden for it, and make claim it was his vaccine push responsible for the numbers. All lies.
Well as we saw with just about everytbing over the past few decades, especially the past 4 years, presidents take credit for everything good that happens under their administration whether they are responsible or not… and they blame others for all the negative
