These two pieces of info in concert tell you what?
That Jeffrey Immelt is for some reason presenting a right-wing front while secretly engaged in a communist conspiracy to install Kenyan sociofascist usurpers in order to enslave the masses for the glory of Chairman Mao?
Or that the two "parties" are not two at all but subtle variations on a single rightward-leaning double-party that works to the same goals and that your scriptwriters lied to you when they instruct you to paint O'bama as a Kenyan sociaofascist usurper in the first place because what we live in is a corporatocracy presenting an illusion of two parties to keep the gullible bickering with each other instead of challenging the PTB, a scheme in which you stand a proud minion?
Think Tim Geithner.
Think Michael Taylor.
Think Tom Wheeler.
Take your time.
Maybe it's not readily apparent. Because you know, the "left wing media" hides all that.
Drones....
Please show me all the critical stories of Obama back from 2007-2008.
Quit the play act like it is hard to find. Just google Obama not qualified 2007 and you get endless pages of articles. But you have to wade through the birther ones and might end up reading a lot of pro Hillary pieces.
The second one on the first page is from the Chicago Tribune, the next one is from Sarah Palin and the one after that is a youtube video of Obama himself saying he felt unqualified in 2004.
That's true; I didn't even think of the birfers. Where are the media callouts for Bush's birth certificate? (or more directly compared, McCain's)?
What they don't get is the common thread. A mysterious birth certificate, to some extent,
sells. Bush being AWOL in the early '70s... not so much.
Bush's myriad malapops also
sell. Dan Quayle taught us that. Joe Biden and Sarah Palin keep that flame burning today.
Just as the storybook (<< hint) script of a black man, who would have been under real threat of lynching at the drop of a hat a century earlier, getting within the White House,
sells. Big time.
Just as the backstory on another candidate
sells as long as you ignore his policies and concentrate on who he was boinking in the governor's office in Little Rock and whether he 'inhaled'. Just as any number of other would-be candidates got shouted out of the process on the same basis, from Hermann Cain to Anthony Weiner to Rudy Giuliani to Gary Hart. Because scandal
sells. Just as the vision of the kindly old grandfather with the measured voice intoning "morning in America"...
sells. Just as an honest religious peanut farmer in the wake of political scandal
sells; just as the vibrant youthful boyish candidate against the Five O'Clock shadow
sells.... just as the World War II hero
sells... Etc etc etc.
See the pattern. It's never about the policy; it's always about the personal. Because the superficial, all together now.....
sells.
