This is just flat out wrong, but the left has been pushing this false narrative for quite some time. Many have fallen for the very tactic Stalin used to defend this form of government. The far left wants more government control. Facism is a Nationalist form of Socialism. Democrats in general align with Socialistic ideals. The further left you go, the more like you agree with Socialist principles. The further right you go, the more likely you are for individual liberty, which is quite the opposite.
