Iron Dome is a joke.
It is very short range and very directional.
While it can and did intercept some ballistic missiles, it cannot at all intercept guided missiles that can maneuver.
It certainly cannot stop ground hugging drones.

And second is that there was no evidence in the article at all, and it only said "Iran is believed to fund Hezbollah to the tune of at least $100 million per year."

It's all about POWER. You want your adversary to WANT to make a deal. If they are indifferent, you are working for a futile objective. With Iran, in particular, they have abused Democrats in the past with the knowledge that they - the Democrats - will not walk away without a deal. So they insist on untenable points and make them - the Democrats - look like pussies. Trump, OTOH, tells them up front that he is willing to walk away, taking away that card.
