The Iranian Parliament has just ordered the Strait of Hormuz Strait must be CLOSED.

Iran's parliament has approved the closure of the key oil shipping route Strait of Hormuz after the US bombed three of its nuclear facilities, state media Press TV reported today.

The Strait of Hormuz is one of the world's most critical chokepoints, through which a fifth of global oil and gas supply flows.

Just happened so not much more on it for now.....Hopefully it's just blustering from a dying regime.

China, being the primary victim of such a closure, might have something to say about it.

If they do, it will be FAFO Part II.

Oh, they can wreak havoc for a few days or a week or more with missile fire but they will exhaust their supply quickly, will not be able to replenish as supply lines and manufacturing plant are obliterated, and as area bombardment flattens entire areas nearby where launches are detected, under circumstances where precision munitions won't do the job.

They might and they might just menace shipping lanes with their presence but most likely they just need to say something tough right now to save face among their ME peers.

Its a bluff now, as they have no air force. If they interfere with International shipping we can easily take them out. Most likely though as they realize that the US government is not bluffing when they say there is a red line..... they will stand down.
One thing you forget.........

You are not dealing with rational people. They are quite insane.

Death Cults usually are. And they are a Death Cult as well as a Doomsday Death Cult.

Not all of them, of course. Most of them are normal human beings but enough insane people have positions of power that they can cause a lot of trouble before we get around to sending them to their 72 Virgins

Gee if only you loons had listened when Trump was trying to make the US energy independent.
I checked fuel prices at the cheapest stations which are in TX vs ours in Idaho and regular gas here is .40 cents per gallon higher. And we produce no crude and ours comes to us from Salt Lake City, UT.
