...said [Green Party Candidate Dr. Jill] Stein. She points to trade deals as evidence of this.

"Who is pushing the Trans Pacific Partnership? President Obama and the Democrats." Stein said that the legislation would have lasting detrimental consequences for the US and the world.

"The TPP is putting investors on same level of nation states," Stein explained. "Anyone who supports it should be taken to court and accused of treason. The TPP is dismantling of the framework of democracy. And the fact is, the Democrats are leading the charge."

Stein has been thoroughly unimpressed with the Obama years.

The Obama presidency has spent its time "expanding war and attacking our civil liberties," said Stein. "On civil liberties, on the press, using the espionage laws, Obama has been the worst president in history. And there's been no-one worse for immigrants."

At the fourth Republican primary debate on November 10, 2015, John Kasich expressed his support for the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal. He said "The TPP, it's critical to us, not only for economic reasons and for jobs, because there are so many people who are connected to getting jobs because of trade, but it allows us to create not only economy alliances, but also potentially strategic alliances against the Chinese. They are not our enemy, but they are certainly not our friend."[25]

There's a Green Party Candidate? For what?

Ordinary American don't know jack about it. I heard they locked it up and you had to go in naked to read it. if you spoke on it you would be arrested? Nice job BHO, really open and honest.

Democrats won't save us. Republicans won't save us. People need to stop expecting politicians to save them and start doing something for themselves.

Pundits and politicos can talk all they want, but all you need to do is compare the Clinton and Obama years to the disasters of the two Bushes and you'll easily see which party is best suited to lead this country. Republicans can't even decide within their own party which direction they want to take the country. They've completely lost their way.

“Stein and the Green Party are offering an alternative to the Democrats, she said. The Green Party represents a real leftist party in American politics that will stand by its principles. And if Stein is lucky enough to be the party's nominee again in 2016, she hopes to bring the party's message from its nominating convention in Houston in August to the nation.”

Further proof that Democrats and liberals are not 'the left,' that the Democratic Party is centrist, moderate, and represents the views of a majority of the American people.

And because the Democratic Party is centrist and moderate, it rejects extremism from both the left and right.

The idea that the Republicans or the Democrats are going to save us is ridiculous. They're both in it for themselves and not for anyone else.

VOTE 3rd PARTY.

And what good would that do? Oh right, you'd just be throwing your vote away.

And what good would that do? Oh right, you'd just be throwing your vote away.

And that advertisement was brought to you by the Remocrats and Demuplicans.

What good would do? Well, it'd give third parties more chance next time around, if millions of people voted third party, then maybe people would take an interest in them.

Happened in the UK. UKIP managed to get a lot of voice in the elections, year on year and then suddenly burst into life.

But yeah, why do anything? Americans are can't do people, better to just do as you're told and vote who you're told to vote for.

It's a two-party system, that's not about to change.

And it certainly won't change if the main two parties don't feel any threat to their existence either, will they?

The UK has a two party system, but people's willingness to vote third party means that the two main parties struggle to keep their hands on the system they like. In the US it's just a breeze, especially with people like you.

You really have a way with ignoring things of relevance, don't you?

Have you ever thought that looking around you, that you might see things that will give you information?

Someone once said that information is power, seems you think that tactics to ignore reality are power. And you might be right. The Reps and Dems get their power from people like you, people who just say "what's the point?"

If 10 million more people vote Hillary than Trump, did those 10 million people waste their vote?

Is voting for another party and increasing their power in US politics a waste of their vote?

Again, back to the UK. People voted UKIP, a lot more than had ever done so at a General Election. The main right wing party, the Tories, had to then put in place policies to annul the threat of UKIP, which means the UK now has an EU referendum in June, which WOULD NOT have happened without people voting 3rd party.

So, what's the point? The point is that a vote for the main two parties is a waste of a vote. You're just going to get the main two parties again and AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN.

A vote for one of the two parties is essentially 50-50, over time. Voting your way, here, is 0%, all the time. It's a two-party system. Either start being realistic about that and working within one or both parties, or forever be on the losing end of the shit stick with no chance to change that.

Again, if you look at how it has happened in other countries you'll see that actually you're wrong.

A vote for the main two parties is a 100%. You get one of the main two parties and the people who control politics are happy.

You vote third party, and enough people do, and there's a chance this party will move forwards and become something in the future. It's happened in various countries, Austria and the UK are two I know about quite well.

So, it's a choice. Vote rep or dem for 0% chance of change.
Vote third party for a 2% chance of change.

I know which is the better statistic there.

I certainly agree with her about the TPP. These trade agreements have been a disaster for American workers.
