The GOP and their fear of debate

When you look at the Democratic Debate and how they went after Hillary with ALL the GOP taking points and after Bernie on his pro gun stance and his message of socialism.

Then you look at the Republicans and one simple question on the debt ceiling caused a meltdown into a full blown whine.

Now, Republicans have cancelled a debate for the Hispanic network "Telemundo". Wow, that should help them out with Hispanics.

Republicans said they want questions with "integrity". Meaning "not too hard".

Republicans cancelled debates on Hispanic networks. Meaning protect Donald Trump.

Republicans don't want to talk immigration. Paul Ryan has flat out refused to work with the president on this, period.

Republicans once again want to present their tax cuts on the rich creates jobs and pay for themselves. Historically, the opposite has been true. So let's present the idea, but not debate it.

Republicans have told their base that Obama is destroying the country. To debate that would uncover how much the country has improved after 8 years of Bush and failed GOP policies.

Republicans want no more moderators that want to debate GOP fantasy policies cherished by the party elite.

If they can't even debate, how would any of the run a country. We see the crying, but where is the leadership?

The GOP and their fear of debate ...

:lmao:

but but but those nasty nasty debate mods were mean to us. These idiots ain't seen nutin' yet. If they can't handle a couple of media employees wait til Hillary gets through handing them their ass.

So if they don't let leftist hacks demean them, very publicly, they are fearful of debates?
News flash for you libtards, the debates are supposed to be between the candidates, not Republicans vs. leftist moderators.

Yes you Democrats have had ONE debate. ONE. It was dubbed the "I Love Hillary Show". It was dull and boring and only offered more taxes and more give aways. The American taxpayer will not buy into that.

Telemundo is owned by NBC, just like CNBC!

Doing the same stupid thing over and over again and expecting a different result is insane.

NBC just lost it, big time.

The media needs to understand that catering to Republican tantrums gains them nothing. Republicans will always throw tantrums, no matter how easy the softballs you lob at them. Being everyone hates their positions on the issues, crying about the media is one of the few options left to them.

However, catering to Republican tantrums does cause all of the normal people to get completely disgusted with the media. So, I suggest NBC and Telemundo use the freed up time to give Democrats more chances to talk.

And I'm sure Putin, ISIS and the rest of the world will go easy on whoever gets elected president, so the fact that all the Republican candidates are such squealing sissies shouldn't matter to anyone.

The more interesting question is why none of the Democrats attacked HRC's easy vulnerabilities. She was a mediocre, do-nothing Senator, a disaster as Secretary of State, never accomplished anything as First Spouse of either the U.S. or Arkansas. She has flip-flopped on immigration and gay "marriage." None of this came up in the Dem "debate."

Clearly, the other toadies know that she is going to be the nominee and don't want to piss off her operatives.

Would someone seriously seeking the nomination ridicule HRC's email mess? It is real, by the way. Or would they try to pounce on it?

What a fucking joke.

BBBBBAAAAWWWWAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

good job Trey !

Tell that to Cruz and Trump and those other GOP "leaders".

You think she wasn't attacked because she answered difficult questions like a professional. Something Republicans are used to seeing.

So you are saying Hispanics have no integrity?

Got it!

And education.
And health care.
And jobs bills.
And infrastructure.
And equal pay for equal work.
And an end to corporate subsidies.

But America isn't into that? You sure?

None of that has happened under the Democrats but yes, we will get to that once Trump is elected. Patience.

Thanks for the short bus review.

NBC lost a whole lot of revenue that they really needed. The candidates are the debate - not the network. It's just like Peyton Manning. Peyton gets whatever he demands because he is worth it. These candidates are the debate and without them, there is no debate. NBC has learned that fact the hard way. NBC has lost millions because of their antics.

This is the same bunch who finds teleprompters funny for some reason. Now they want questions given to them a week early because tough questions are unfair.

This is the bunch that will defeat terrorist with toughness and leadership. lolz

LOL - OK-ok, you talked me into it, it'd be lots-o-giggles watching the political entertainers moderate a debate between the Republican pissants that are impersonating candidates for POTUS...

http://www.thenation.com: Ted Cruz Is Right: Let Limbaugh and Hannity Moderate a GOP Debate!

Voters would get to see the way the conservative entertainment complex now controls the Republican Party.

By Joan Walsh
October 30, 2015

I rarely agree with Senator Ted Cruz, but he has a great idea: He wants conservative talk-show hosts/demagogues Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Mark Levin to moderate a GOP debate.

Let’s be clear: The Republican whining about debate moderation to date is pathetic. They smacked CNBC moderators like piñatas Wednesday night, and they’ve continued battering them through the week. You’ll recall that Donald Trump savaged Fox News moderator Megyn Kelly in the most sexist way after the first debate. These guys are first-rate cry babies, working the refs by crying “liberal media bias!” like conservatives have for going on 50 years.
