Zone1 The fundamental differences between a follower of Christ and Catholicism is...

From unwarranted attacks on my faith. Maybe when the shoe is on the other foot you will understand. It’s one thing to say you are Christian, it’s another thing to actually be Christian.

there in lies your issue - there may be for some a cure for paranoia ...

So, when someone asks the Church, where do I go to learn salvation/redemption, the correct response is, that outside the Church there is no other person or institution who can teach and guide Jesus' Way of salvation.

Where in the Bible did Jesus or the apostles make that statement?

The Catholic church has accepted Darwinian evolution and that has led to more modern and more intelligent Catholics to face reality and admit that their bibles are full of lies.

Our ding knows the truth and chooses to say that the obvious nonsense stories were never meant to be true!

While the other followers of religious beliefs are sticking to believiing their bibles to be true.

Good for the Catholics, they're getting out from under the lies while the gettin is still good!.

The Apostle Paul was describing people like you.

2 Corinthians 4:4
4 In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

So, when someone asks the Church, where do I go to learn salvation/redemption, the correct response is, that outside the Church there is no other person or institution who can teach and guide Jesus' Way of salvation. There are many good religions--Buddhism, Judaism, Hinduism, to name a few--But it is the Catholic Church that maintains all of the teachings and traditions of Christ and the Apostles. You won't find that in Buddhism, Judaism, Hinduism, or any of the truly great philosophers.
"The Church" is the body of believers in whom dwells the Holy Spirit. It transcends physical organizations

If any man has not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His

I get what you're saying... but I think there's a difference between a personal attack (for example, not too long ago someone called me a 'retard' because of my veganism which is in part rooted in my faith)....and disagreements on theology or the scriptures. When someone disagrees with me on doctrine, as long as the discussion is civil, I don't take it personally. Heck, if we took any disagreement on theology or hermeneutics as an "attack" on our faith, then we shouldn't even have this section at all. But again I think what's important is not only what we say but how we say it. And that goes for everyone. For example, there is a poster here who starts a lot of threads proclaiming the Catholic church to be the ONLY church that is of God and that anyone outside of it is not going to be saved, and that non-Catholics are on their way to hell. But even then, I don't take it personally because I know that that poster is simply incorrect. I usually don't even get into discussions with that person, because I think with some people it's impossible to have a genuine, fruitful discussion.

I don’t believe you do get it.

Which faith is that?

Christianity. I'm a born again Christian. But if you want to argue veganism, that would be off topic on this thread. I know you vehemently disagree with me on that, because you give a lot of thumbs downs on my posts whenever that topic comes up. If you want to argue it, feel free to either create a thread or bump an old thread. But honestly I really don't want to argue about it at the moment.

Great attitude and great post. We're supposed to humble ourselves and be willing to learn.

Proverbs 12:1-25
"To learn the truth you must long to be teachable, or you can despise correction and remain ignorant".

Mark 4:25
"For whoever has a teachable heart, to him more understanding will be given; and whoever does not have a yearning for truth, even what he has will be taken away from him".

You people are hypocrites. Just line the Pharisee.

The miracles and resurrection say otherwise.
