Is it your belief God does not keep His covenants, because God did make a covenant with the Jewish people. Through the ages the remnant of Jewish people lived through days when some turned to idols, turning away from God. The entire population suffered during these times, but during these times of suffering, were those who remained faithful and loyal to God. It is who they are, and how they live. God remembers his covenants, but it is a rarity when people do. All should be in awe of faithful Jews, and respectful of their practices and beliefs.
I believe God himself was in our midst, taking on the nature of man, to fulfill the promises he had made throughout scripture. He made a promise to Adam and Eve. When the Tribes were scattered and lost, He came to gather them back to Himself so that they might know Him again and return to loving Him.
In the Bible, Hebrew writing point to the New Testament as a whole, and the New Testament points right back to Hebrew scripture as a whole. I emphasize "as a whole" because I am not a fan of taking fragments (a verse here, a passage there) of the entirety of scripture in an effort to "prove" something. Because of this entirety, I do believe Jesus is who he said is--one with God. And as God will never break His covenants, He will never withdraw His love and care of the Jewish people who have been (and are) loyal, faithful, and loving towards Him.
I've said this before: Christians love the Word of God (Jesus), brought to them by God, Himself. Jews love the word of God, scriptures given to them ages before Christianity. Both people love God with hearts, minds, bodies, and souls. This love of God brings us closer together than perhaps we can truly fathom. However...Christians should understand this mutual love--and God's covenants--well enough to ever think of Jews in hell. Hell is separation from God, and Jews have in no way separated from God. I hold the belief they never will be.
