You and I have been around this block before. Did you fail to read the specious title of this thread? Iran, as you are well aware, is feverishly trying to develop the capacity to build nukes. They feel it is the key to their terrorist regime's survival. Which, in fact, it is. Now even the self-possessed wimps in Paris are making anti Iranian sounds. Tehran will either give up its pursuit of nukes, or it will be forced to clean up the rubble of its nuclear infrastructure. One or the other. There will be no future world where Iranian religious fanatics point a nuclear gun at civilization. Only the very far Left thinks that's tolerable.

Yet no proof that Iran is feverishly trying to develop capactiy to build nukes. They MIGHT be doing so, and they might NOT be doing so. We havent actually proved they ARE. They have a nuclear program for civilian use...this is what we have proof of, this is what they admit to. We dont have evidence for anything beyond that.

It untolerable that ANYONE has nuclear weapons really...but we dont have a choice and must find a way to tolerate the reality. We cant start a war over fear of a war...thats just stupid and paranoid.

To compare Bush to a man who, under the control and direction of the Guardian Council (The real power of the theocracy of Iran) claims he will remove Israel from the map, asks the world to imagine a world without the U.S., funds, trains and logistically supports Hamas and Hezbollah isn't very logical, unless you attempt to insert relative morality and other bits of ethics-twisting variable into the thought process.
It is also intellectually dishonest to attempt to call wanting to block the nuclear arming of a theocratic insane assylum on racism. That is a cop-out.

None of this takes away the fact that a nuclear Iran is unacceptable!
