So anything below that is abnormal, such as around many major cities?Acid rain is normal since it is normally acidic between 5.5 to 6.5 ph.

What Are the Worst US Cities for Acid Rain?
When acid rains down from the sky, the damage can be severe, and yet some cities still have an acid rain problem. Find out where.

We have successfully reduced acid rain by limiting sulfur dioxide and other emissions via the Clean Air Act. Why couldn't we attack global warming the same way?
We have also successfully limited damage to the ozone by eliminating cfc's.
This shows that we can successfully tinker with the atmosphere if needed. In that regard who opposed addressing acid rain and the ozone layer when science proposed those solutions?
