Asymptomatics who were never tested are not counted, nor has there been any effort to determine their numbers. In the early days testing was only done on those showing symptoms. Initially the mortality rate was extremely high, but as more testing occurred it dropped dramatically. Looks like shoddy reporting to push an agenda, not science.
