2. The Bible is the ‘green light’ that has impelled humanity onward, and upward, to Western Civilization.

Religion, and by that I mean the Judeo-Christian faith, differs in myriad ways from totalitarian, socialist, secular movement. And having children is one of the key differences.
Early on in the Hebrew Bible we find God telling Adam and Eve to “Be fertile and increase and fill the earth,” Genesis 1:28

And again, after the flood, Noah and his family get the very same message: 9.1 “Be fertile and increase and fill the earth."

"Couple With 11 Kids Homeschool Every Child on Their Mini Farm, Call Them a ‘Gift From God’

A couple with a mini farm in New Mexico has welcomed 11 biological children in just 10 years. They homeschool every child, are fast running out of space in their 15-seater transit van, and are expecting their 12th child in March 2022.

Yet Courtney and Chris Rogers, for whom their faith in God is central, say that, amid the chaos, they are grateful for their joy-filled home.

“I always wanted to be a mother,” Courtney told The Epoch Times, “but I never imagined having almost 12 children. I love having a large family and I’m thankful God entrusted them to us.”

4. "If Liberals Want To Have Fewer Children To Save The Planet, More Power To Them
Individuals who choose to have fewer kids should by all means proceed. Meanwhile, pro-family conservatives shall inherit the future.
Predictably, conservatives, who are sick of being told what to do, expressed outrage at the suggestion. The same progressives comparing Republicans to the evil autocratic fictional leaders in “The Handmaid’s Tale,” a government that dictates breeding choices, are now dictating to us how many children we should have.

To progressives’ supposedly climate-saving suggestions, I say this in response: Okay, sure. But you first."

With all of the money we have gifted to the UN for the last 20 years to "fight climate change" has one iota of weather been changed? Have they stopped even one volcano from erupting? Have they lowered the rise of the ocean before it swallows New York? Did Obama feel he had stopped the rise of the ocean enough to buy ocean front property at Martha's Vineyard without having to worry about drowning? Have they cooled the air enough to save the polar bears? Because for 20 years they have been trying to save that one floating on an iceberg.

The sun determines whether we warm or cool. Not the UN. Stop throwing our hard-earned money at the globalists to hand out to anybody who sticks their hand out. Let's start asking for results for all that money....

The religion of environmentalism started way back with kooks like the pagans. Environmentalism may have even preceded the pagan era as there appears to be @ least some evidence of the environmentalism religion waaaaay back to the 1st known(?) empire established by humans: the Akkadian empire! Before the Akkadian empire there appears to be a fair amount of unusual activity, if not outright bizarre activity recorded on our planet earth by various tribes(?) around our earth. Many tribes(?) report they lived before earth had a moon, or the moon was towed into place quickly(?). I'm not kidding you here so I am posting links to back up what I am telling you here. This is WHY I terminated my historical sociology studies @ the time of the Akkadian empire for @ least there is a small amount of tangible evidence to back up the rise & fall of the Akkadian empire to the Barbarians.

I'm just saying the religion of environmentalism did not just magically start in Spokane Wa. during 1974 with "Expo '74"(I actually was employed @ that nightmare).

"Pagan" is spot on.

And, considering that everything the Left claims ususally turns out to be the very opposite, note that "Progressives" actually aim to return society to pre-history days, when the laws of the jungle took precedence.

Curiously, you'd think that conservatives would be first to try and help families to afford those children. Subsidizing health care, day care, elder care, decent public schools, family leave, etc., might do a lot to encourage parents to have their children earlier enabling them to have more children. I think it is economics rather that ecology that is lowering the birth rate.

Know who else said that?

On the excellent webcast Uncommon Knowledge, Czech president Václav Klaus recently compared “two ideologies” that were “structurally very similar. They are against individual freedom. They are in favor of centralistic masterminding of our fates. They are both very similar in telling us what to do, how to live, how to behave, what to eat, how to travel, what we can do and what we cannot do.” The first of Klaus’s “two ideologies” was Communism—a system with which he was deeply familiar, having participated in the Velvet Revolution in 1989. The second was environmentalism.

The pagan religion of global cooling/global warming, climate change or whatever one desires to call it has been around for many centuries. It ties in with the vegan, animal rights, anti dam, anti tobacco, anti internal combustion engine, anti crude oil extraction & anti forest management cults. There are of course many other topics that fit under the heading of 'Environmentalism'(too many to list here plus the bleed over topics) but one can get the picture from what I have listed above.

Pagan is the correct term.

As per this thread, here is the NYTimes advancing the pre-biblical paganism of earth-worship.

"The Earth Is Just as Alive as You Are
Scientists once ridiculed the idea of a living planet. Not anymore.

Life in the Amazon does not simply receive rain — it summons it.

Faced with this preponderance of evidence, it is time to revive an idea that was once roundly mocked: the Gaia hypothesis. Conceived by the British chemist James Lovelock in the early 1970s and later developed with the American biologist Lynn Margulis, the Gaia hypothesis proposes that all the living and nonliving elements of Earth are “parts and partners of a vast being who in her entirety has the power to maintain our planet as a fit and comfortable habitat for life.”

Over time, however, scientific opposition to Gaia waned. In his early writing, Dr. Lovelock occasionally granted Gaia too much agency, which encouraged the misperception that the living Earth was yearning for some optimal state. But the essence of his hypothesis — the idea that life transforms and in many cases regulates the planet — proved prescient and profoundly true. We and all living creatures are not just inhabitants of Earth, we are Earth — an outgrowth of its physical structure and an engine of its global cycles. Although some scientists still recoil at the mention of Gaia, these truths have become part of mainstream science.

“It’s definitely time to revisit Gaia,” said Adam Frank, an astrophysicist at the University of Rochester."

"Earth worship", or @ least tree worship can be 'traced back somewhat' to the Akkadian empire & before. There appears to be both moon god(alilah the moon god{?} precursor{???} to allah the moon god of islam/middle east) & a sun god named jimu/far east-modern day Japan. You think all the before mentioned sounds weird, the farther back one investigates this planet the more bizarre it gets. I found I was leaving my major field of study(historical sociology) & drifting ever more into the archaeological field so stopped my studies @ the Akkadian empire era where @ least we have some solid evidence of what was going on way back then. Yes, planet worship did & still does proliferate upon good ole planet earth. Everything from rocks to volcanoes & from trees to our moon & everything in between have found the gullible to be worshipping them. Thanks for the thumbs up & love happy faces as I do appreciate them. Till next time!

Amazing how the Left, in all of its iterations, seems bent on destroying Western Civilization, and taking us back to pagen times.

They worship a very different god than that of our Founders.

With all of the money we have gifted to the UN for the last 20 years to "fight climate change" has one iota of weather been changed?

You must give them credit for all the ideas they come up with.....the latest...blocking the sun. Now. What could possibly go wrong with that. I confess that my world view is influenced by God's word. It is my opinion then that Environmentalism is satanically inspired. It is satan's way of getting man to work against the coming judgements of God. If he fails...and indeed he will, then at the very least....it is one more thing that the left can blame the right for 'denying it, ignoring it, contributing to it'. I think that is why you hear of media types occasionally calling for some type of punishment for the 'deniers'. The left, who claims to care about people, are the first to want to punish them for diverse thinking.

Ties into that:

The left pro maskers care so much about kids that they will punish them with gym lockdown, isolation and a taste of global cooling. People should be going to jail for pulling this stuff.
