...as long as God is still seen as the Creator. Did God create mankind in a twenty-four hour period...or, did God create man over time, starting with a single cell? Catholics can ponder for themselves how God did it, and there may be differences there. Where we do not differ is that God did do it.

Yes! Regardless of the choice, either of the extremes on how long it took to create humans, or somewhere in between, Eve, the mother of humanity belief can't be made to fit in and work.

You're at least smart enough to understand that there's nothing any Christian can say to change that.

The CC came up with the perfect answer to the problem: They've allowed the flock to believe whatever they like. That includes of necessity, throwing out creation and the bibles completely.

The CC hasn't forbidden anyone from believing the entire Genesis story is true. It's entirely dependent on each human brain to make it all work or to make it all impossible.

You seem to be somewhere in the middle but you can never say.
