So, if there are people on the left who think that what their party does is the best for the country, then they have "love of country".
If the American left loves America, why then do they hate the American flag?
You're going to have to explain the American flag on my truck then. Two of them actually. But those flags aren't proof of anything. Jesus, you are prone to believe any propaganda, just throw some bunting on it and call someone else a *** and you're sold.
Quote from Al Franken
If you listen to a lot of conservatives, they'll tell you that the difference between them and us is that conservatives love America and liberals hate America. ... They don't get it. We love America just as much as they do. But in a different way. You see, they love America like a 4-year-old loves his mommy. Liberals love America like grown-ups. To a 4-year-old, everything Mommy does is wonderful and anyone who criticizes Mommy is bad. Grown-up love means actually understanding what you love, taking the good with the bad and helping your loved one grow. Love takes attention and work and is the best thing in the world.
That's why we liberals want America to do the right thing. We know America is the hope of the world, and we love it and want it to do well.
Yea, that's why leftists burn the flag and other leftists remain mute.
You guys don't care about America or even average Americans as evidenced by the staggering murder rates in Democratic communities.
I'm not going to argue with what you've written, because it's pretty vague stuff.
All I want to do is ask you questions.
How do you "care about America"???? What do you need to do in order to care about them?
I'll write a few examples of things you might want to consider:
Healthcare. Between an NHS style free at the point of delivery to a total free for all like the US system. Between which points does a person "care about America"?
Let's take the 2A. Designed primarily to allow the people to rise up against a corrupt government and take it down. When BLM rise up and start burning things, is this because they "care about America" or not?
Now if the right did the same thing, would it be caring the same about America or not?
Then there's freedom of speech, based on your burning the flag thing. If you "care about America", where is freedom of speech? Total freedom to say anything you like no matter the consequences? Or do you ban certain things because people don't like others pissing all over their stuff, like flags, religious books. Where is freedom of speech?
Murders in "Democratic communities", well, people in those communities might say that GUNS and the EASY AVAILABILITY OF GUNS is the biggest problem. And yet it's the RIGHT that doesn't want to get rid of guns.
So, if Democrats said "getting rid of guns would be us caring about America to stop violence in inner city areas"..... then how do you balance this?
