In the same way that not one republican voted in the ACA, not one elected democrat this time around will support the repealing of this law......

So, it will ALL be in GOPers' hands and that is why they're scared shit-less of not really having any alternative to the ACA.....

There is going to be about 2 years of talk, but in the end, they will repeal ACA, and replace it with exactly the same thing with a new name, with guaranteed issue, etc., except that the government will send subsidy checks directly to the insurance companies, instead of to people below poverty level. That will solve everything, because if they send money to Aetna, instead of Joe Blow and his wife and kids, it isn't called "welfare".

If they do anything less than this and turn the care of human life back over to the for-profit death industry it actually is, they will go down again in 2018 and 2020 as the pendulum swings back yet again.

I doubt that. The liars and the lobbyists have so poisoned public opinion against single payer. People still believe thousands of Canadians come to the US every year for health care. They don't.

I personally know of one person who went to the US for experimental cancer treatment. One person. I also know of someone who suffered a heart attack in Florida and demanded to be stabilized and sent home for treatment in Toronto.

I know of several Americans, including Sarah Palin, who used to come to Canada for treatment
