If your life would be better in another country, you would go there.

I have been paying into Medicare since I was fifteen and working at Churches Fried Chicken. i'll be old enough for medicare in two and a half years, and of course I will take it if it is a better deal for me.

I paid for my healthcare in my old age and continue to pay for it for the current age.

Why do you think I should be obligated to pay for years also? What particular victim status do you claim?

Yes, that is a problem, but care like OTC pain meds and ace wraps will not break a hospital.

My question is how do people with cancer, heart conditions, strokes, etc. get healthcare?

If they have never paid into health insurance, they can simply sign up for a policy once they realize they need one. Paid for by taxes, borrowed and printed money, and the artificially high premiums of the young and healthy forced to have them.

It's not the cost* of the OTC meds and wraps that "break" the budget, it's the cost of staff, equipment, and facilities used to dispense such that help break the budget.
* Also one pays 10-20 times what would pay for these OTC at a retail store.
