Thanks Obama - You Vet Hating **********

Damn, some folks sure cry a lot when their government benefits get cut.

Benefit? It's something me - and millions of others who chose to serve this country - were promised.

When Obama tells you "I promise not to cum in your mouth," do you believe --- or do you swallow?

My guess is the latter.

You weren't "promised" any such thing.

Look at your enlistment contracts (or better yet have someone read them to you, since you're obviously too stupid to comprehend them) and you'll see exactly what you were and weren't promised.

I've spent the last 14 years of my career as a Career Counselor and I've had to deal with semi-illiterate idiots like yourself you have no clue exactly what you should be receiving.

Of course you could get your lard ass out of your truck and lose about 50 pounds and maybe you wouldn't need so much medication for blood preasure, but I guess expecting some stupid gap-tooth redneck to take responsibility for himself is too much to ask.

So if you think people that come to you for counseling are idiots...then you should get out of that business! They don't need you to "help" them....you don't know how. As for the military benefits, they should NOT be taken away from our soldiers. I take it you're ok with Congressmen working for 4 years and getting FULL retirement and benefits for the rest of their lives? You're an asshole................

you realize that there's no truth in the op, right?

co-pays have increased - but then they've increased for everyone, everywhere - and they haven't increased nearly as much for those on tricare as they have for the general public. further, they haven't increased as much as warrior claims - which makes him a liar.

I'm not sure if he's an asshole or not, I don't know him. But, your information about Congressmen getting full retirement and benefits for the rest of their lives is absolutely incorrect. They have a generous retirement pension plan, but it is the same plan as every other federal employee gets. Certain rules need to be met in order to qualify for the pension and it's based on your number of years of service.

I have had a totally different experience with Tricare than has the OP. My husband is the retiree, and we have been getting our maintenance meds through the mail-order pharmacy less than 50 miles away for several years now. Not only the scrips but the replacement parts for his C-PAP machine are sent out promptly and for FREE. We are very fortunate to be able to use all generic meds and so the cost per scrip for 3 months' supply via mail is...... $0

We are very grateful to have this coverage and service. I encourage everyone who's eligible to take advantage of the mail-order pharmacy option for maintenance meds.

There are some changes I do NOT like - having retirees pay $201 PER CHILD for ages 23-26 for medical coverage is rather expensive, but then it's very good coverage. Since our 23 y/o has an income, we've shifted that expense over to him now so it really doesn't affect us directly. I do think it's unfair, because no other med insurance I've heard of goes by 'per child' - AND because it's a fed mandate which created the necessity for that 'patch' in the first place.

I don't know how the OP's one month supply winds up costing $44/month - but it's clear that the DoD wants to shift as much of retirees scrips to 'mail order' as possible for efficiency and cost savings TO ALL.

Yes, it's irksome to have to pay more when it's stuff the doc says you can't even wait a day to get (our MO folks will 'overnight' if requested - no charge) - but that shouldn't be happening very often for most of us.

I'm not doubting the OP's word about his situation: I just don't see enough information given to explain it, sorry.

I'm a lot MORE upset about the idea of pushing us 'gray area' (under 65) retirees off onto our employers' health plans - not only would our copays triple and our scrips cost us $120/month or more, but we'd be shelling out close to $5,000 in premiums for that coverage instead. (OTOH, it would include the dear child...but still, that's $2600/year we'd be socked)

We PAID for that coverage already: the service members spent 20+ years being available as cannon fodder/targets for wherever and whenever the US Government chose to send them, and yes the families have paid as well.

It is not right to take away coverage that was included when our sponsors signed up: if the financial situation is so dire as all that, then Congress should be foregoing some perks before stripping them from the vets.

Hate the President all you wish, but he's still only one man. And I don't see one political party standing up for the vets, not at all.

I do.

What's funny is these same right wingers would have put a man into office who had 5 sons and neither him nor any of his sons were in the military when America was fighting two different wars. And all six gave the same excuse. They were "busy" doing other things, like helping dad get elected.

Are Obamas daughters resistered for duty?
Check it out and get back to us, assfuck
Since he's putting women into combat now
Both should be eligible for cannon fodder positions on a-Stan thanks
And where and when did you serve fudge pack?

Let's see. Warrior was complaining a few months ago about how little his benefits went up and now he has to pay more for his pharmaceuticals, another trauma in Warrior's life.
Welcome to the world that has been cast for the working Middle Class. We have seen flat wages for decades that have fallen short with keeping up with inflation. We've seen the quality of our health insurance decline while the cost has risen faster than inflation.
Guess what Warrior,,you aren't special, just like the rest of us.

Those who have served their country for the majority of their lives are now in your social class of lowlifes?

Think not

Neg rep'd for your anti veteran point if view

Anti-vet? Hardly. I'm singling out you and you don't represent all veterans, not even close.
You complain about your benefits, you complain about your healthcare coverage. Guess what? Millions of people are in the same boat as you and most of those millions are working stiffs who work hard and pay their taxes. Yet you feel entitled because you served. My two best friends are vets, one a Marine the other Navy, they don't cry and moan about all the crap you do. They realize that the US needs to cut back on spending, so they accept it. They sure the hell don't feel like they are owed a debt of gratitude for their service for the rest of their lives. They served their country and not for a free ride the rest of their lives. That a big difference from you.
I have no problem at all with you getting benefits. And I bet you used the GI Bill for your education. All good for you. It's your constant whining,,,,! Be thankful for what you're getting and quit your whining.

Tuition assistance just got taken away in the Air Force, alot of people are upset about that.

Army, Marines, Coast Guard, etc got cut too.

I was just talking to a friend of mine about this they keep taking away from the Military, pretty soon they will be paying for their own medical care too.

If obama and his ilk keep undermining our military and intelligence services, the whole country will "be paying for it" one way or another.

Both girls are under 18. Keep it classy, Warbler.

I wouldn't bet on Warbler getting an education. Seriously.

Get your facts straight about what Congressmen get in their pensions. Posting incorrect information brings your credibility into question.

As for the rest, unknot your panties and learn to read.
