Well, when I first arrived in Newberry SC just over a year ago, gas prices were sitting at around 2.75/gal. Over the next few months they slowly started to rise, and then when Putin invaded Ukraine, gas shot up to around 4.50/gal.
Today, I filled my gas tank, and the price at Murphy's here in Newberry SC was 2.69/gal. Today, the gas prices were around 6 cents less than when I arrived here, and I'm thinking that gas prices will continue to go down at least a little bit more.
If they can get below 2.50/gal, and stabilize there, I won't be upset.
By the way..............for all you liars out there who are saying that gas was under 2.00/gal while Trump was in office, you might wanna spend a bit of time looking at prices when he took office (they were at 2.32) and what they were when he left office (around 2.38).

That's for average gas prices of the whole nation. It also depends on where you live. Your own link to AAA says that gas prices are slowly coming down, and there's even a neat little link where you can compare your state with the national average or other states if you wish.
Like I said, it depends on where you live (and your link will provide for various areas if asked). Today in Newberry SC, I topped off my tank at 2.68/gal. A week ago when I was in Augusta GA (had to go there for my VA eye appointment), I was able to top off my tank at 2.42/gal.
